He shook his head with a laugh. "So, this Lucas guy?" Cameron questioned

"He's the one I'm picking at the end of the ball. He agreed to it."

"Oh I see, he seems...like a good choice."

"He is." I said

"I saw you with him, you seemed...happier." Cameron shrugged looking into his sisters eyes.

"So was this your real reason for asking me to dance?"

He looked at her. "Well.." He trailed off, not knowing exactly what he wanted to say. "I, uh, wanted to make you smile."

"Ah," I said.

Cam shook his head, he knew that wasn't why, he wanted to be the only one that protected her, that was there for her, made her smile. Him and only him, not someone that could break her heart

"Whats bothering you?"

"I should be the one to protect you, make you laugh, wipe away your tears, the one that was always there for you." He looked inton her eyes. "Not someone that could hurt you and break your heart."

"I think its time you go get Mel and dance with her.....It's always been my fate to get married off sometime."

Cameron nodded. "I love you sis." He let go of her hand and walked over to Mellisa at the bar

I sighed. I loved my brother but sometimes he acted too much like a lover.

Cameron went over and slung an arm over Mellisa. "Hey you."

I went looking for Lucas.

I was walking when I ran into Elizabeth.

We bumped into each other and I almost fell to the floor.

"Oh, Okay, Well what's up?"

"Nothing...Just wanted to keep dancing since I shooed my brother away."
