Abotu a week ago, the bombs dropped, they mutated everyone in North America into zombies or the outraged ghouls, except 2 vampires. And even they were still mutated. Now the two can transform into any animal they aquire, as the world falls into more chaos, the two find more friends, more enemies, and even love.

I pushed open the door to the shack, I peeked inside, seeing that5 there were no zombies I mtioned for Mitch to follow me in. I readied my pistol and smashed the door in. I looked around, no zombies at all. I holstered the gun and walked calmly inside

I watched Owen's back as I walked in after him,I looked around and said,"So are we gonna rest here,or keep going?"I looked down at him,eye brow raised.


I pulled my hair back as I looked down at the zombies that crowded around the truck I was ontop of,I grabbed my baseball bat and sighed,ready or not here I come,I thought as I jumped down where there was no zombies,I started to run.But they followed me.

I looked at the walls and tapped one with my foot, it smashed through the old rotted wall

"We won't be able to, even a ghoul could get into this" I sighed

"Check that bunch of cabinets over there, Ill check the gun locker" I walked over to where it stood and opened it

I walked over to the cabinets and slowly opened them,I looked in them and found some can foods,my stomach growled at the sight of them.


I turned a corner quickly and got ready for the zombies that were smart enought to follow me,there was only a couple of them,I swung at each one.Bashing their heads,it seemed to be a weakness on them.

I looked inside the locker

"Dude, this is awesome" I reached in and puled out two 12 gauge shotguns, an smg, a crossbow, and 4 pistols, the bottom of the gun locker was lloaded with undreds or even thousands of bullets

I smiled over at him,"Wow that is awesome... looks like we hit the jackpot here,new weapons and food,"I said as I stuffed food into my backpack.


When I got all five of them I started to run down the road,but carefully,I need to hide somewhere and catch my breath.I looked around as I kept running,I turned onto another road that was completely emptied,I started to walk.My eyes scanning for a hiding place.

"You want the croosbow or the smg" I siad as I holstered 2 pistols and aa 12 gauge

"Give me the smg,"I said as I put my backpack back over my shoulders,I walked over to him hand out streached.


I kept walking,the baseball bat ready.My breathing was even again,but my heart and mind still raced.

I handed him 2 pistols, the smg and a 12 gauge, I strapped the crossbow onto my pack and started fishing out ammo, I put half in my pack adn took the holster of crossbow bolts and tossed the rest over to him

I nodded, I walkd outside and stopped, I listened carefully somewhere in the bush, someone, or something was running towards us, my hand immediatly went to the crossbow adn plucked an arrow out of the holster, I aimed it at where the noise was coming from, and then something came out of the bush, I caught sight of a shirt, I shot, it caught te clothe of the shirt and went into a tree, pinning it to a tree, I looekd and ralized it was a girl. A vampire too

I looked at the arrow then at the boy,well not a zombie I thought as I stood there,looking at him.."You two aren't infected right?"I asked as I looked at my shoulder,it wasn't bleeding lucky me.

I looked at the girl,"No..."I answered her.

I walked over to where the girl was and took hold of the arrow, I pulled it out and slipped it out of her shirt

"Sorry about that, you can't be too carefuil nowadays" I looked into the woods and saw a zed

"Excuse me, I stepped aorund here, drew my pistol and shot it right through the eye, Iw alked over and put a second into it

"Allways double tap, make surte there dead" I said as I walked back

I walked back over

"Im Owen" I introduced

"Riley,"I said as I held my hand out.

"Mitch,"I muttered as I looked around.

I shooke here hand, I saw movement in a tree, I whipped the pistol around and shot the branch, it cracked and the creature fell to the ground

I watched them then I looked at the guy named mitch,then around us.


I rasied a eye brow and walked over,"You two know each other?"I asked as I looked at them.

We looked over and at tyeh same time said

"Were twins"

I looked over at them,seeing the resemblance,"That's cool,"I said,and smiled abit before I looked around again,"how old are you both?"

I looked at them,"You never told me you had a twin,"I said to owen.

"I thoguth she was dead" I told him

"Were both thirteen" I answered
