If I Die Young (Closed)

I snaged a fish and reeled it in, It flashed in the air and fell beside me. I picked it up and expretly pulled the hook out of it's throat, after examining it, I chucked it back in the water.

I sighed. I hadn't even caught a fish yet. I watched owen as he already caught one fish.

I grinned as the bobber on her line sunk under the water.

"Quick, jerk the rod, or else the fish will steal your worm."

I tugged it out of the water. I smiled. I was happy I caught a fish.

I walked over and pulled the hook out. I looked up at her.

"Thats a good size." I told her. A salmon. I pulled out a salmon tag and put it through it's lip." I put my finger in the gill and broke the spine.

"I know. Who knew I would have such good luck out here." i watched Owen break the spine of the fish.

"It's usually pretty good fishing out here." I broke off a branch and hung the fish on it.

"Yea. I bet it is." i said with smile.

I hung up the fish and flung my line back out, it wasn't too long the two of us had caught 13 trout, adn 3 salmon. I picked up the branch and turned to her

"Come on, lets head back to the cabin and fry these up."

I nodded. "Lets go Owen." i said with a smile. "Did you need help carrying anything?" i asked.

"Nope, I got it." I told her. I started back to camp, but a large set of wolf tracks stopped me

"These weren't here when we came in" I siad wonderously.

I looked at the tracks. "Wow... this is new." I looked at the wolf tracks.

I looked up as Taylor cmae up the trail

"Hey I was looking for you guys." She said

I heard a low growl tear through the forest, my eyes searched the bursh ubntil I caught sight of it, its coat was sleek adn grey, it was poised to attack us.

"Nobody move, slowly, back up, mayeb it will leave us alone."

"I don't think... they'll leave us alone Owen. They look hungry." i said. I took one step back carefully not trying to show i was scared.

I glanced to her

"When I say, Run." I siad quietly. After a moment, I saw that it was about to strike

"Run!" i shouted. I rushed towards it, trying to give them some time. It tackled me to the ground, sinking it's teeth into my arm, but then it ran after them

I didn't run. "Owen!" I rushed over to him. I tired to pull him away from the wolf but the other wolf sunk it's teeth into my leg.

I pushed myself to my feet

"Taylor, look out!" I yelled, but it was too late. The wolfs teeth sunk into her neck.

i looked at Owen and Taylor. I wondered if they was as scared as i was. I struggled to get out of it's grip on my leg.

As if they were called, the wolves sprinted into the forest. I slowly tood up and walked over to Chelsea

"Here." I helped her up and let her lean on my arm, I did the same for Taylor, they had gotten hurt a lot worse than I had

I limped back towards the camp, trying to support the girls.

"Thanks Owen." i said softly.

I could smell the blood of Owen, Taylor and Chelsea. I rushed outside. "What happened?" i asked. I went over to Owen and helped Chelsea.

As Jared took Chelsea, I scooped Taylor up in my arms, she was un-concious and bleeding very badly

"A pack of wolves attacked us up near the beaver dam." I explained.

I shook my head. "I'm you guys are okay." I said. I helped Chelsea into the house and set down on the couch. I went to go find the bandaids.
My leg hurt so badly. I was holding in the scream but I knew i wouldn't be able to hold them in when Jared would be checking my leg.

I brought in Taylor and laid her down on the table

"Jared, run to the hospital, get some help, Ill stay here." I told him

I nodded. I wanted to help but i couldn't stand there scent of blood. I rushed out the door and started to run to the hosptial.

I wrapped up the wound on Taylor's neck. She was still completely unconcoius.
