i dont think the model zoey is any good. she doesnt look the part to me.
veronica sixtos is favorite. but i think finding the right person to play zoey is going to be hard.
she needs to be vulnerable but have a strength about her, and also look how zoey is supposed to look.

yeah that will be hard, but then again it will be hard to find someone for each character

er...first off i was gonna say megan fox >_> thanks. thanks a lot. and you could say the same thing about the age difference w/ rob pattinson and the others from twilight. and i personally think if you actually got kid actors, it'd be lame and the actors would seriously look 12. no thanks. it'd make the movie have a more disney, harry potter feel to it. im hoping they go in a different direction. besides, most tv shows/movies (besides degrassi and such/gag) usually feature actors in their 20s to play teen roles. but i do think megan fox may b too old, but still, she does remind me of how i picture zoey .
so...with that said...i'm voting for 17+ age requirement (hopin' they make it 18)...atleast for the main characters...lol *waits for arguments*

they'd take the more mature stuff out if they're 17? i doubt it. this series has a totally different feel to it then any disney movie or harry potter. you cant really compare it to harry potter anyways. the movies fit how the books were written. they didnt take out sex and such because of the age of the cast. they can find 16, 17 year olds that dont look 12 and are will to take on the more mature things in the book. i honestly dont care if they're over the age of the character as long as they look the age they're meant to be. megan fox, does not look 16, 17 years old. she didnt even look that young in jennifer's body which takes place in high school. shes too sexy for zoey. beautiful but too sexy.

haha...well i wasn't actually COMPARING the series to anything..i was merely stating that getting young'uns to play the roles would make me think of hp and disney movies. and my "they'll look 12" remark was a bit of an exaggeration. im just saying i don't like the idea of young kids playing the roles. older teens, hell ya..but it would just bother me if they were young..lol...cuz i never picture them like that in the series. and im sorry if i offend anyone but i think 15,16 yr. actors are too young. 17 MAYBE...if they look 17. i swear kids these days are lookin' younger and younger. and thinness among males seems to be in..especially for the younger generation..so it makes them look even more underdeveloped.....lawl....HIT THE WEIGHTS, YO!

i don't really care how old the actors are, if they look like the character they are supposed to play i'm fine. and i think they can be young because i litterly doubt it that a 17 year old girl can play stevie rae, she is going to look young so what i mean is that the age doesn't matter to me because i think what matters the most is that they can play the character.

Sorry I can't really see Zoey in any of them but Shay is better than Shelly (at least I think so).

Most actresses that play Native Americans are either Italian or Latina and sometimes it's the other way around. Hollywood should really really start looking for more ethnic actresses instead of all these blondes all of the time.

ok, i don't really care who is zoey, but the pic of the girl they npow have looks way older then 16/17-ish! i think someone younger would be nice. no offence, not victoria justice.

if anything i think victoria sixton(sp) and kristen herrera but honestly? why not pick one of the dedicated fans, i bet there are some young beautiful girls n here. even i got some acting experience. it would be really cool; if someone actually had read the books befor it was a movie and was part of the movie it's self. you know?

I think that the actors have to read the books before they film the movie. At least in the interviews with actors that did movies based on books say they've read the book prior to filming. Including fans wouldn't be a bad idea as long as they could act also. Doing an open casting wouldn't be too bad of an idea.
