Forest House Of Night ((now closed))

Flavius went to his class. And as he suspected, all he thought about was red fledging and whatnot.

after training Zeke thought about if red fledglings had affinities.
he had many of his own questions that needed answering...
he went t his room to find his tortise shell cat Kiba lounging on his bed.

After Equasterian was over, Flavius decided to skip Vampyr History since he already knew everything they were going to study this year by heart.

He went to his room. His cat, Suzie, immediately jumped at him. She was the most beautiful and most thoughtful creature ever. He hugged her tightly. "You know you are a superstar, Suzie."

Zeke put his sword in his halster. "im going to see if i can get Flanius out of class early today, wanna come?" he asked his cat and Kiba ended up following him.

*knocks on door*

Flavius then put on Madonna's song "Oh Father" on and began to dance to the soft tones. His cat Suzy was in his arms. Then he began to remember his father whom he could never forgive for his cruelty. Flavius then began to tear but he didn't sob. Just tears and tears. Then came the song's powerful chorus and Flavius couldn't help but tear more and more.

I got away from you, I never thought I would
You can't make me cry, you once had the power
I never felt so good about myself


But he did make him cry...

"Door's open!" Flavius yelled but didn't move from where he was standing.

Zeke opened the door to see Flav stding in the middle of his room, cat clutched in arms and tears rolling off his cheeks.
"Flavius! are you alright!?" Zeke allowed Kiba to jump from him and he closed the door.

"Just thinking of that cruel monster who used to call himself my father." Flavius said, not moving. "He had a way with words. He made me feel worthless. He turned me into a spong. He never even gave me the chance to believe in Santa Clause or the Tooth Fairy." The song then ended, Keep It Together began playing. "Even today I am like a spong. I absorb everything."

Then he allowed Suzie to jump and then she began to stroke herself between his legs and meow.

Zeke didnt know weather to give him a hug or what.
he went over and held his shoulders. "hay, you dont need to worry about him anymore. your here now, he cant get to you here. and if it helps i can be like your big brother. i can protect you." Zeke said that seriously, no joking in his voice.
Flavius was one of the closest friends he had since he started here. he didnt like to see him hurt like this, and he ment what he said.

"Normally I'd flame at these cheesy moments, but I really appreciate it, Professor." Flavius said. "I'm glad I have you as a frie...big brother. And you don't have to protect me, I tend to scare people away anyway." Then he paused for a moment. "The monster maybe gone, but his influence will never go. And that's something no one can protect me from." He didn't want to make things worse. He decided to be more positive, but he couldn't. "You know sometimes I wonder whether Nyx marked because I'm special, or because she felt sorry for me and didn't want me to live with that cruel monster." He then went to wash his face. Not in front of Zeke! He began to say over and over again. He didn't want anyone to see this side of him.

Zeke smiled warmly to him. he let Flavius go.
"im always here if you need me. and if things get to tough for you, you can always talk to me, day or night."
when Flavius went to his bathroom Zeke petted Kiba and Suzie.
"im sure the other fledglings arent scared of you." Zeke tried to be positive.

Flavius decided to just tough it up. These breakdowns should stop. He was never going to see his father ever again.

"Well, I come off as a mean person." Flavius said. He was going to say his father messed him up, but he put that aside. Positivity, he thought.

He then went out of the bathroom and saw Zeke playing with both cats. He smiled. Kiba and Suzie were so adorable together.

"hay, dont worry 'bout it. i had a messed up life before i was marked too." Zeke thought that if he shared his story that that might help.
"a lot of the kids left me be in 3rd form but then i decided not to be in a nut shell and enjoy life." he told him.
"my mother died when i was fifteen." he paused."i watched her die." he didnt know if he should carry on. to tel Flavius who killed her.
he decided he should.
"my father killed her. he beat me until i couldnt move and made me watch." he told him.
"i called the police when i was at school, they had contacted dad before i got home and he beat me 'til i was unconcious. then the police came and my dad threatend me that he'd come get me." he saw Flav's face all sympathetic. "but hay, im alright, i was marked right after, the tracker said it would be okay and that my new life would be better." he finished on a positive note.

Zeke then looked at his watch. "periods nearly over, we should go see Proffesor Julia."


"Sam, Jake, im headed back." Alx called out to them. she walked back the way she came

Flavius listened to Zeke's stroy. He couldn't help it but feel sad for his friend. His friend went through a lot, but unlike him he handled it very well. He thought maybe he should talk to Zeke more often about these issues. He was deep in thoughts until Zeke said that they had to go meet Julia.

i sat at my desk in my classroom.

"whatever" i said back.i looked for another human. i drained him before. i had to get a control over myself before i deicided to heading back.

As they were walking towards Julia's class, Flavius began to think of random stuff to draw away the negativity. The he remembered that there are more important issues like the zombies they are about to discuss now with Julia.

"You are never going to look at me the same way again." Flavius said. "I guess my tough, rebellious personality will look like a John Bender impersonation from now on." He was trying to get his and Zeke's mind off trouble by joking around.
