Summer's Poetry

Not Even Me


I look up to the blue sky above,
I look down at the ground beneath me,
and as I do this,
I ponder on the possibilities of life and death,
If i play my cards right,
I could wind up in the blue, heavenly sky,
If I decide to do evil,
I will wind up in the fire, in the ground beneath me,
but then I think, what would it matter?
I'm going to die,
so I won't feel anything.
I guess I will have to see what happens,
but either way,
I will be gone,
so no one will care which one I went to,
noone will care,
not even me...............

This is one of my older ones....
When I get the chance I will put my newer ones up.
Their much better.

Doesn't Seem To Care


I love him,
But he doesn't seem to care,
I look at him,
But he doesn't seem to care,
I talk to him,
But he doesn't seem to care,
But I care,
and I am hurting inside,
my soul aches at the sight of his face,
but does he care?
No, he doesn't seem to care.
And I will continue aching,
Until I die,
But he doesn't seem to care.

Dry Tears


I sit there,
gazing out the bus window,
watching the fields of grain,
and trees pass me by,
thinking of the one whos
always on my mind....
(never left my thoughts)
waiting in my dreams
(arms wide open)
kept a piece of my heart
(all of it)

I lay there,
staring up at the sky,
watching the clouds and sun,
hoping you'll come back
with a smile on your face
(showing me you still care)
your hand reaching for me,
(my hand still longing for yours)
and forgive me once more
(even though I don't deserve it)

and here i stand,
awaiting your arrival
listening to the clock,
as time slowly shortens my days
knowing for a face,
that things willl never go back to how they were,
(but then theres maybe)
you'll never have those same feelings
(that care, that was so real.
and love, that was soo true.)
and all these days and nights, crying over what used to be,
has left me nothing but sorrow.

that not only will i still be greiving for the days to come,
but DrY TeArS will be forever fallling from my
flooded eyes.

Ripped Leash

i taunted you. i taunted you as if you were a dog.

i would loosen your leash each adn every day, just a little bit.

but i had ahold of you by a strong grip.

never planning to let go.

you acted as if you didnt want to be let go.

you would stay the same pace as me, sometimes you would get a little bit ahead, but that was okay.

but one day, i forgot to loosen your leash and you got way to far ahead of me and your leash ripped and you ran away.

you were no where to be found.


i couldnt find you....i still cant.

but i dont think that you want me to find you.

and the truth is...i dont want to find you ither.

id rather one day, you just find your way back to me.

I like Dry tears. It somehow plays like a song in my head. I believe it will be really sweet if it's a song. The title is really eye-catchy too.

Er... There's still another one... Ripped Leash. It's really good, the personification. I simply love it.

What I like about your poems are your titles. They are really unique, not just a typical "broken heart" or "Forbidden love" kind of titles. They are really really eye-catchy.
