Jace laughed when they dropped her. "Might want to watch who you talk about when there really isn't anywhere for you to go in the middle of the pacific."

"I'll just play with my shark friends." She told him.

"They aren't really your friends." He smiled

"Are you my friend?" She asked with a tilt of her head

"Who are you asking?"

"You." She said, looking at him, actually being serious.

"Yeah."

"Really?" She felt her smile grow.

"Yeah. I don't lie."

"Yay!" She threw her arms around him in a tight hug.

He was awkward and he like patted her back

She frowned. He wasn't like this before. She shrugged it off and got off of him.

He nodded and turned back to the table. Some of the men started to snicker.

"Whats so funny?!" She asked, her eyes narrowing.

They got stiff and turned away going about their business.

"Damn straight." She said as she walked past them, leaning in the shade. She had gotten a nice tan since the start of this trip.

I looked at the maps and held the things.

Alice blinked and looked at the sky, smiling as she watched birds fly overhead.

He was mapping out a faster route because he had placed he needed to be.

Alice sighed as she looked down.
