Dark Score House of Night(started but still open)

I turned away from him. I couldn't talk about this, not with him or anyone.

He grabs her arm and pulls her into an empty dark classroom "god damn it Alaina, let me in"

I looked at him. "I did this because I care about you. The idea of seeing you dead hurt so much that I couldn't say no. I'd rather hate you and you hate me than you be dead, it would be better."

"really? Because I'd rather be dead." he says and walks to the door "I'm ending this tonight."

I didn't look at him and couldn't find the words to say to him. I didn't want him to go, but I couldn't do anything to make him stay here and leave it alone.

"how do I find him?" he asks her over his shoulder.

"I never saw where he stays, or where he works. I just met him on the street when I was younger, not yet a fledgling." I said.

He sighs " what's his name?"

"Someone in his job wouldn't give his name. I have nothing for you to work off of. I can't help you." I walked past him, out the door and back to my room, then locked my door not allowing anyone in. I sat on my bed. Last time I allow someone in.

He watches her go "you're welcome" he mumbles and goes home.

I didn't want his help. I got a call from the guy who he wanted to kill. "I'll meet you there." I said after he told me where he was. I went there and listened to him, then I killed him and went home. "Now he's not a problem."

He gets a knock at the door, he opens it and sighs "Rachel.. Come in"

Rachel: she smiles and walks in "how's business Hayden?" she asks

Hayden: "it's fine. You want the usual?" he asks

Rachel: she nods

Hayden: he goes to the garage and gets a vile full of blood.

(Yeah, an idea from some guy i know, he can't stand to write about a woman who cant take care of herself)
I layed back on my bed.

Hayden: "you know the drill.. Just a drop at a time" he says handing it to her

Rachel: she grins "how long have we been doing this?"

Hayden: "3 years.."

Rachel: "I think I know what I'm doing." she laughs "what do you want?"

Hayden: he sighs "good company."

Rachel: she smiles "come on.." she pulls him in the living room and they lay on the couch

I lay back on my bed.

Rachel: "so.. Tell me what's bothering you"

Hayden: he sighs "it's just.. This girl.. " he sits up "she drives me mad!"

Rachel: she laughs "clever girl"

Hayden: he glares at her "don't laugh at my misery"

I close my eyes and let myself think, but then knew I wouldn't be able to think of things other than him. The only way to not think of him is to surf. I got up and got ready to surf and then left.

Rachel: she smirks "Hayden.." she whispers and sits on his lap facing him "you need to get your mind off it baby?" she whispers against his lips

Hayden: he pulls her head to the side and bites her neck.

I go to the beach and start paddling out. I felt the water for any disturbances that would suggest a wave.

Once Rachel leaves he lays on the couch staring up at the ceiling. He had to much energy to just sit here. He got suited up, grabbed his board and headed to the beach.

I felt something and started heading out there. Nothing was forming yet but I knew just where to be. When the wave started to form, I was close by and once I was duckdiving under it, it was really big. I got up on the wave and began to do all kinds of tricks.

He gets to the beach and swim in the ocean. He leaves his board on the sand and swims under the water, not noticing anyone around.

I was about to go into a barrel so I did a hand stand. I went through it perfectly then ended it with a jump and backflipped into the water.

He swims down to the sand and enjoys the beautiful fish and reef.

I come back up and see another wave. I get on my board and go for it. This time I couldn't help yelling out.
