The Life and Love of Dragons (1x1 just me and sak chan)

"It's alright. He was ready. Someone had been burning him every night, made him very ill. His mate has aan egg now." I said.

"Yeah, she misses him as much as I do." I touched the egg to the side and looked at it as if it was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen.

"It's working." I said. I felt a touch of ice in my hand which I had done. It was how we got our dragon eggs to develop quickly. It began to shake and I held on to it.

I watched it hatch and the dragon fell forward on its stomach. It coughed some ice and shook it off then looked at me. "Hey." I stretched out my hand to it and it sniffed. I could tell by the look of it that it was a boy.

He crawled into my lap and he looked at the other dragon. "He'll need a name." I whispered.

(Ohh Nice. And kk)

"Something that would fit him." I said.

(i dont know what to name it)
I started thinking. I watched the fire dragon come up to him and her heat made him shrink back to my cold body but otherwise he was fine.

(Ummm. Idk Either, lol)

"Mist.." I said she looked at me then back at the other dragon.

(I got it)
"Adrex. That was the name of the dragon my mother had." I said and looked at Mist. "Be careful, don't wana hurt him." I said.

I watched her. She seemed curious about Adrex, but that was it. He was pretty curious about her too. He kept leaning closer just to sniff the air around her then he'd shrink back only to repeat what he did.

"Dog?" I had never seen one before, I'd heard of them but still didn't know what they were. "Dragons always act like that, or at least in my kingdom they do."

"Oh, I've never seen a dog before." I said. Adrex got out of my lap thinking that she was challenging him and jumped on her making me giggle at how cute that was.

"No, ours aren't. When an ice dragon acts like that it means they challenge you. Adrex knew it by instinct and accepted." He was biting her. I grabbed him off of her. "Hey no fighting, there's time for that later." He started squirming in my arms.

I let him practice walking. His kind was very rare type of ice dragon, so rare we have only three in existnce. I looked at Mist. "Is she a rare breed of fire dragon?" I asked.
