For Shaunee I thought of Jessica Szohr of course she'll have to tan a lil'bit but I think she'd be perfect

I like Jessica Sohr =D But I don't really think the tanning is necessary though. To me it doesn't really matter if the actors are a little different from the way they're described in the book.

Exactly, it doesn't matter what they look like. Although I do think that when a guy is described as ''hot'' he shouldn't be an ugly nerd or something xD But otherwise appearance doesn't really matter to me

but with shaunee and erin is does matter. shaunee needs to be almost an opposite of erin and i dont think that girl isnt the right kind of opposite. does that make sense? ha.
the way the actors and actresses look is super important. you want them to look like the character they're playing, esp. cause its from a book. you dont want some blonde chick playing zoey. sticking to the descriptions from the story needs to happen or the movie wouldnt be the same.

About Erin and Shaunee I agree with you, the rest not so much. I mean, if there's an actress perfect to play the role of for example Zoey but she's blond. And there's another one who does look like Zoey but is not as good, they should choose I think the actress that is best to play the role, not the one who looks the most like the character.. but these are just my thoughts

I see your point though LectriErin, but 2day we can do anything thanks to technology and I think Jessica is really really beautiful and match Shaunee ya know if we didn't think of her skin color... But another girl would be good lol in fanmade I saw a lot of 'shaunee' who were kinda perfect so it's not a problem ^^

but zoey being and looking native american is really important to the story. it ties everything in together. her culture and her being tied a-ya. if zoey were blonde it wouldnt work. but also her being so different from aphordite(looks and personality) is big esp. in the start of the series.
and i dont think they should settle for someone just based on looks but i dont think they'd go so far out and pick someone who looks totally wrong for the part.

I can understand your arguments, and I agree with some of them, but of course there's always the possibility of colouring the hair of the actresses, to make the opposites (Zoey and Aphrodite & Erin and Shaunee) more clear

yes remember that Nikki Reed has brown hair and they colored them so she can be blond for Twilight...
