She shook her head "no ones ever done that for me before Ben, it's a huge deal.. "

Ben looked at her,"No one?Not even...?"he trailed off and frowned as he rubbed her back.

She looked down "uh.. No.." she mumbled and stood up "that's why I'm so independent and stand up for myself all the time I guess.. "she shrugs "because I have to" she said with a weak laugh.

Ben nodded,"Well not with me around,"he sid and kissed her softly,"I'll defend you in every possible,I promise."

She looked at him, her eyes getting watery "I gotta go.." she whispered and headed for the door

Ben stood up,"Wait.."he walked over to her,"be careful okay?"he whispered,"whoknows what Marcus has planned."Ben pecked her lips then opened the door for her.

At dinner she was like a zombie. She didn't speak, and ate very little. She couldn't do this, she couldn't be someone's pet. She wasn't one of those women and never would be.

Ben stayed on the couch all night,he didn't even budge or make a sound when Josh started to insult him.Why was he like this? It was just a date... and she wasn't even his... she was a human,but yet he had a unsettled feeling in his stomach that he knew would only go away when Cataleya was back at his side.

After dinner Cataleya convinced Marcus she wouldn't be any fun tonight so maybe another night. He said fine and walked up to her and kissed her long and hard and passionate. He was actually a good kisser, so she kissed him back, hoping that it would be a good enough promise for tomorrow night to happen.

Ben heard them pull in,when he made it to the window he saw them kissing.His wolf instantly surfaced this drove Ben over board growls escaped his lips as he spun and ran from the house out the back door.He stripped quickly before tranforming into a wolf and taking off.He ran from everything,his pack,his feelings,and her... Cataleya... he ran till he couldn't remember why.

She left Marcus in the driveway and walked inside and up to her room. She thought Ben would be there and she was disappointed when he wasn't. What did she expect? Him to wait around for her to be done with another man? No.. He was prolly out with Laila or something. She sighed and slipped out of her dress and got in the shower.

Moasn returned hours later,he walked in and sighed.No one was downstairs so he grabbed something to eat then sat on the couch and watched tv quitely,Masrcu and Cataleya's kisss ran through his head again and he sighed,why should it matter who's she kissing? he thought bitterly.

She sat on the balcony in her robe for a long time, staring out into the woods. She loved it out here, you could actually see the stars. In the city it's so loud and polluted you couldn't enjoy anything, but out here was a different story. Out here she felt free.

When Ben was done eating he turned the tv offf then walked upstairs,he entered the room and slid his cloths off,leaving his boxers on he walked out to her,he stood beside her and looked out at the view with her.

She heard him come in but kept her focus on the view "how was your night?" she asked him, looking at the moon.

"It was fine and yours?"He asked,looking at her now.

She shrugged a little "it was fine." she said, still not looking at him.

"Right.."He muttered and then faked a yawn,"night,"Ben said then walked insideand layed down ontop the covers before closing his eyes.a deep frown was on his face as he slept.

She looked over her shoulder at him and frowned, why did he care? He had the women in his pack, she thought.. He'll be fine. She swallowed and walked inside, shutting the balcony door quietly and slipping under the covers in bed. She stared at the ceiling trying to fall asleep but a lot was on her mind.

Ben slept perfectly till around 2 am,he started to toss and turn before he shot up gasping for air.Whe he got a grip on himself he groaned softly and nuzzled his face into Cataleya's stomach.

Cataleya jumped when Ben shot up. She closed her eyes when he nuzzled into her stomach "Ben.." she whispered "are you alright?" she asked and swallowed.

"No,"Ben said simply as he closed his eyes,"it was horrible Cataleya.. the smoke,the fire... her blood.. man it was horrible,"he whispered and let out a shaky breath.

"it was just a dream.." she reassured him as she ran a hand through his hair.

Ben nodded and took comfort in her touch,he layed there quite for a few seconds then whispered,"Did you enjoy his kiss?"

Cataleya blushed and blinked up at the ceiling "h-how do you know we kissed?" she asked
