Ben encaged her in his arms,"Why did you leave me?"he whispered,"why didn't you call me or come find me?"Ben looked down at her hurt,"just why?"

She sighed and pushed him back a little "I just need to be alone right now.. And so do you.." she said not looking at him.

Ben sighed and nodded he turned his head and saw Laila watching them his gaze slid away from her too as he slowly walked towards the woods,mummblng watch Dylan to Josh.

She sighed as she watched him walk away. She got in her car and started looking for her ring. It wasn't anywhere to be found. She cussed and thought about where it could be. Bens room maybe? "f**k!" she yelled and looked up, seeing Ben nowhere. She sighed and got out of the car, she walked into the house and quietly made it up the stairs to Bens room. Just get in and get out without him knowing, she thought and started looking around on the ground and under the bed for it.

Ben transformed into his wolf form and ran around for a while before he went back turning ito a human he grabbed a towel off the cloths line before going inside and upstairs.

She sees something sparkle and gasped, reaching farther under the bed but couldn't grab it. She sighed rolled on her back and scooted under the bed far enough to grab it, her feet were sticking out from under the bed. She grabbed it and sighed with relief looking at it.

Ben walked in and raised an eye brow clering his throat,"Uhmm.."he said softly looking at the feet then the legs,e knew those legs anywhere,"Cataleya?"

She sighed "uh.. Nope.. The boogeyman " she swallowed "boo.." she said not moving.

Ben rolled his eyes and pulled her gentley from under the bed,"What are you doing?"he asked.

She looked up at him and showed him the ring on her pointer finger "I.. Have to return it to Derek.." she said softly

Ben looked at her confused,"Why are you returning it ?"he asked as he looked at the ring.

She slowly stood up and looked down at the ring and shrugged "it belongs to him." she said "I called it off two weeks ago.."

Ben stood up frowning,"Why?"he asked softly.

"I don't love him.." she said looking up at him

Ben looked at her and stroked her cheek nodding,"Oh I see."

She swallowed and looked away from him "I should go.." she said and moved towards the door.

Ben stopped her,"Are you spending your time away fromme to.. get over me?"he asked hurt.

"yes.." she answered honestly looking directly at him.

Ben faces showed many emotions before he went blank his eyes went dead as he turned and grabbed jeans he yanked them on then grabbed a tee shirt and shoes,"You shuld go I have to go drop Dylan off,"his voice was plain... flat out dead.

"Ben stop." she said getting angry "we can't keep doing this." she sighed "if we can be friends, we can hang out and spend time together, and I'm willing to be friends but are you?" she asks

Ben looked ahead,"I haven't loved a woman since Clarey,Leya... then you come along and steal my heart ... and all you did was smash it into tiny peices like Laila said you would.She was right you ended up breaking my heart.."he kept his eyes forward,"so no I can't ... I ..I'm sorry I have to go Delwould like her son back.."he hurried away ushering Dylan out the door e drove him to the drop off place then said bye to Del and Dylan.On his way home Ben thought about his time with Cataleya how could he be so stupid?He let his gaurd down completely when she played the 'I love you' card god he ws stupid!
Ben was so wrapped up in his thoughts that he didn't see the truck or the stop sign and before he knew it his car was rolling down the road all Ben felt was pain.. his vision blurred as he groaned.He heard voices and someone yell for 911 but that's all he got before he passed out.

Cataleya got a call on her phone about Ben, he must have listed her as his emergency contact. She told the other wolfs about it and they rushed to get him, taking him to the hospital would be pointless. Once they got him back to the house they fed him some healing meds and put him in bed. He was unconscious for days and Cataleya stayed by his side the whole time.

Ben woke up one day a slight pain his head,his side and hips he let out a small groan as his eyes fluttered open he looked around his vision still blurred from being asleep so long.

She heard him wake up and walked to his side. She was wearing one of his tshirts as a night gown and her hair was down and messy "Ben.." she whispered and sat next to him.

Ben looked at her confused,"Please tell me I'm not dead,"he whispered as he went and touched her face softly.
