Ben sighed,"I'll try.."he bit down on her neck playfully,"but only for your safety."

"were they nice to you?" she asked softly

Ben snorted,"No... one chick kept coming onto me and the alpha... I think he's absuive.."when he said the last part it came out a growl.

Her eyes snapped open and she looked at him "one chick came onto you?" she repeated

"Yeah,"Ben nodded,as he looked down at her,"why ? "he stroked her cheek.

She looked away from him "what.. Did she do exactly?" she asked curiously.

Ben chuckled deeply,"She flirted,"he gave her a grin.

She chewed on the inside of her lip "was it the woman that was here?" she asked

Ben nodded,"It was."

She clenched her jaw "hmm.." was all she said and rolled over so her back was to him.

Ben sighed,"I pushed her away you know,"he played with her hair,"she got p1ssed at me... "he chuckled,"cause I told her I rather be here in bed with you then out there with her."

"I don't know what I'm doing here Ben.. I need to go.." she said and sat up, getting out of bed.

Ben frowned,"Leya don't do this.. not again.."he whispered looking at he,trying to plead with his eyes as he whispered,"please stay... please Leya."

"whatever this is Ben, is not healthy. We can be friends... But.." she shakes her head "we can't keep doing this. Someone always gets hurt. I want to have fun and laugh with you, I don't want it to be so stressful all the time. Can we manage to be just friends? Can we actually enjoy each others company for once in our lives?" she asks

Ben looked at her hurt but then whispered,"Yeah we can manage... being friends,"he said he pulled on pj pants then said,"you sleep here Cataleya I'll sleep on the couch."He grabbed a pillow and a blanket then walked out.Sighing he ran a hand through his hair and went and layed down on the couch.

Cataleya immediately regretted her words when she saw the look on his face. Who the hell does she think she is? This man saved your life, multiple times, and you're treating him like this? She held back her sobs as she stared at the closed bedroom door. She didn't know what to do, she wanted to go out there and kiss him, make love to him, just be with him, but she couldn't.. Not after the stunt she just pulled. She needed water..she pulled on one of bens tshirts, covering her half naked body, and quietly walked out. It was dark but some light was shining in through the street, so she made it safely past the couch and to the kitchen. She reached up to get a glass but a sharp pain ran through her side and she gasped and pulled her hand to her side. She took in a deep breath and tried again, but failed and cursed under her breath.

Ben layed on the couch he tried to sleep but he just couldn't,sighing he rolled onto his back just as Cataleya walked passed.Listening to her in the kitchen en couldn't help how his lips twitched at the corners.

She clenched her jaw in frustration and looked around. She spotted a dining chair and decided to pull it over to the cupboards. She climbed ontop of the chair, hating every second of it on a count of she hates heights, and managed to grab a glass.

Ben sighed softly and closed his eyes he rolled onto his stomach. Ben didn't like the idea of just being friends and he didn't understand why they couldn't just be together,growling softly he stood up and walked into the bathroom.

Cataleya jumped as she saw Ben walk by, she didn't know he was awake. She brought the chair back to its rightful place at the dinner table and filled up her glass with tap water. She carefully hopped up on the counter and began to drink her water.

Ben went and had a shower before he went back to the couch mummbling to himself.

Leya heard him mumbling through the open bedroom door. She sighed and crawled out of bed, and slowly made her way near the couch "do we need to talk about this?" she asked, walking up to him.

Ben shook his head as he looked at her,"no,"he said softly as he stared at the back of the couch while he spoke .

She swallowed " should I go?" she asked him softly.

Ben sighed and turned over,plastering a fake small smile on his face he said,"No sorry I'm just tired.."he sat up,"why aren't you sleeping?"
