Your Favorite Enemies is a Canadian rock band that was formed in 2006 by Alex Foster (vocals), Jeff Beaulieu (guitar), Sef (guitar), Ben Lemelin (bass), Miss Isabel (vocals and keyboard) and Charles “Moose” Allicy (drums).
Foster's position as a former youth speaker and spokesperson of Amnesty International influenced the band's musical direction. Le Journal de Montréal stated in a review that “Rarely has a music group generated as much buzz before having even one album under their belt, as it is the case with Quebec band Your Favorite Enemies”
In 2008, Billboard Magazine named Your Favorite Enemies one of five Canadian acts to watch for that year. That same year, the band went on its first Japanese tour, and released its second album, “Love Is A Promise Whispering Goodbye.” The band has is one of few international artists to have written a theme song for the sound track of the Final Fantasy video game franchise, and it reached number 1 on the Japanese charts. That year, the band's record label created a multi-media branch, introduced new community web initiatives, and produced several different shows on the YFE-TV Channel (such as the independent broadcasting of live streaming of the bands concerts).
