Live, Die, what's next? (1x1 open)

I had a small sketch started already, I never understood why I had to sketch it when it could be painted and done. I couldn't understand the paintings until they were colored. It only took me a few minutes to get it all drawn out, then it felt like forever before I found where I stashed my paints.

When it was done I could tell exactly what it was. There was a moon, in the full phase, and then there was something that resembled a wolf, but on it's hind legs and the front paws and legs looked like arms and hands. I could tell what this was about and looked at the corner. A date. 10/31/2012. My birthday.

One thing I knew was good was that no one was dead, and I had no blood on me. I just got to see what I was going to change into.

I heard but said nothing. The compliment stirred something, but I just ignored it. I kept staring at the picture curiously.

I looked around and nnoticed the mess. I began to clean things up.

When everything was cleaned up I sat on my bed and leaned back. "Almost like home now. Just need the big graveyard mural that has a gravestone with my name on it over the bed." I said.

"I think so. At least I got an idea of what my birthday will be like." I said with a smile in his direction.

"Yeah. Hopefully not too painful, and the day will be better than it has been."

"Yeah, considering it's a week away. Looks like I'll be having a good week. This is a painful time." I sighed.

"I know. It's only temporary."

I sat and watched him for a moment before poking him. "Whatcha thinking about?"

"Oh, well, I guess there is a lot to think about."

I nodded. "And a lot to take in."
