in the earlier times, Desire was badly hurt by a dog and Sebastian believed her dead so he went hating dogs. Shes alive serving the family of the woman who saved her life as she promised she would on her death bed. then sebastian comes in, obviously angry but maybe he can forgive her.

I walk around the mansion while my master was asleep

I was off in the corridors upstairs cleaning. I had heard of a new butler that arrived a few days ago, but my lady had gone for a trip so I had to go with her. I just got back today so I've been to busy to meet him.

"Excuse me" I say to the maid

"Yes sir." I finished organizing the books on the bookcase and turned to him. My eyes widened when I saw him. "Sebastian."

"Hello Desire" I bow, "Its been a long time"

I bow back. "Yes, it has." I replied, much too long for me.

"How have you been?"

"I've been ok. And you?" I knew he must be angry with me, because he did not know that I was alive, or why I hadn't found him.

"A little peeved at you but other than that I have been fine."

"I apologize for not finding you before. I have to honor my promise to the woman who saved my life, when she died she asked for me to watch over her family and I owe her my life. I have been here since then with no room for leaving, except to pretend retirement." I said but kept my voice smooth with only little emotion.

"What was this woman's name?"

"Mary Reynolds. She died two years after the accident." I said.

I nod

"Now what did you want to ask?" I said getting back to the point of why he tapped on my shoulder.

"I was going to ask if you would like to share some tea with me"

"Alright. I think a could use a break." I gave him a small smile.

I nod, "Follow me if you will"

"Alright." I follow him through the house.

I enter the kitchen and pour the tea
