Doctor Who

Doctor Who is a British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC. The programme follows the adventures of a Time Lord—a time travelling, humanoid alien known as the Doctor. He explores the universe in his 'TARDIS', a sentient, telepathic time-and-space-travel machine that flies through the time vortex. Its exterior appears as a blue British police box. Along with a succession of companions, the Doctor faces a variety of foes while working to save civilisations, help ordinary people, and right wrongs.

Weell then. Doctor who. I'm sure many of you are familiar with the man with two hearts.
What do you think of the programe? I think it's marvellous!

DW is simply brilliant. I love every single season that I have watched (season 1-7 of the new series), and it's very hilarious and interesting. It does however rip your heart out, so you've been warned in case you are pondering beginning to start watching it.

What's your favorite season/ companion/ doctor?

I've only watched the series with Ninth Doctor and some episodes with Tenth, but I gotta tell ya, I love this series! And gods do I love David Tennant? He's so goofy and perfect for the role of Doctor - and I love his red pair of Converse^^

I really should watch the series more often. My favorite companion is either Rose (because she was with the Ninth Doctor) or Martha (because she seems like a kick-butt^^) - and if he's counted in, I love Captain Jack Harkness.

So far there's been only one episode that really scared the bejezus out of me. That episode is called Blink. For one week after I saw it I was completely paranoid. I saw those bloody Weeping Angels everywhere! (Shows just how excellent villains they are - but my favorite villains are the Daleks anyway.)

Yes! My Mum HATES the Daleks thanks to my Uncle they scare the bejeebez outta her haha.
The weeping angles scare my friend who I got hooked onto the programe, whenever we're out and about I always point and stare at a statue and it freaks her out haha!

But the one that has scarred me for life is the episode where in London I think it was, the little boy found the space junk Jack carelessly threw away and the poor boy kept asking "Are you my mummy?" and he had that freaky gas mask and the bruise and scratch and it infected the whole city! AHH! It scares me just thinking about it!!
So, warnings for the future, don't ever EVER show me a gas mask. (My friend got me back for scaring her with the statues. I ran out of the museum like it was infested with rats!!)

Agreed 100%, that was one super-creepy episode. Not as creepy and "Blink" but close enough. I'll never be able to be around any gas masks either.

by far one of my favorite Christmas special yet! made me laugh a quite a few times XD and the snowman were rather creepy..

I honestly became deeply interested in watching doctor who. I had decided to put it on hold for the library and when I got it. my friend who have watched doctor who said to watch the first two episodes. I became hooked

The Christmas Special was awesome^^ and may I say it was the quickest regeneration ever. Peter Capaldi impressed me immediately, he's gonna be an amazing Doctor. (Also, he had the best first line ever! "Kidneys!" I'm laughing forever.)

I agree. It was a quick (sneeze) regeneration,but it was also the longest as 11 did begin the regeneration by returning to a younger form of his body before the full cycle kicked in.

I started from the first season and finally finished it and now im waiting for the second season, though im completely impatient on waiting for it cause i want to watch it.

Yeah once im finished with the more modern/newest version.

Cool! After you watch all the newer ones then go to the Classic Who's, you'll see the evolution right before your very eyes!
