American Horror Story

American Horror Story is a horror-drama television series created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. Described as an anthology series, each season is conceived as a self-contained miniseries, following a disparate set of characters and settings, and a storyline with its own "beginning, middle and end."

The first season takes place in the present day and follows the story of the Harmon family, who move into a restored mansion, unaware that the home is haunted by its former inhabitants. The second season, titled American Horror Story: Asylum, takes place in 1964 and follows the stories of the patients, doctors and nuns who occupy an institution for the criminally insane.

This is my absolute, nr. 1, without a doubt favorite show ever. Has anyone else watched it?

Ah! You made this topic. I am so happy. AHS is without a doubt, one of my favourite TV series ever. I mean, I only watch two things on TV because I'm fussy and I adore American Horror Story. Though, at the moment, my opinions on Asylum is very different to my opinions of the first season. Asylum hasn't gripped me yet, not like the first season. I much preferred the Harmon's story than this one. It doesn't frighten me very much, apart from that mask.. But other than that, it's just weird. But, I am only on episode four, so it should change eventually, right? But until the series is finished, I don't think I should compare to the two. I really miss Violate...

Yes :3 I actually quite like this season so far - it's so different. I love season 1 a lot more, of course, but I'm interested to see where the new season is headed. I really love Kit so far, he's definitely my favorite character (I love Tate more though, he's my baby) and I'm rooting for him to come out alive and well. Just watched the sixth episode (Chloe you have to watch it I'm freaking out and I don't know who to talk to!), and I'm craving the next episode. The mask really creeps me out, but except that there's nothing that really scares me, which is good. In the beginning I was really worried that this season would be scarier than the last one and that I would actually be frightened, but it's no problem so far.
Recently had a AHS marathon with my friends - made me fully realize how much I miss Violate and the other characters ;------; probably going to have another one soon, I can't get enough of the first season.

I love this series too, but because of my age I am not allowed to watch season 2. I watched the very first and too much went on. I think my mom has watched it, what;s happened this time?

I really want to rewatch the first season! Gah. ;__; someone feed me some Violate so I can be happy again. Haha. I love Kit too. I just love Evan Peters, he's adorable. Tate will forever be my lovable psychopath though.
I'm sorry! I can't watch it. I'm watching it on UK TV, and we're two episodes behind the US, and I don't want to watch it online because I'm watching it with my mother and things. Everyone was like "OMG THE END OF EPISODE 3!" And I'm like "I just finished episode 1!".... I'm currently on episode 4, so...
I really don't like that doctor guy. He freaks me out, like, so bad. And I have mixed feelings about Grace.
Also, I agree with being frightened. The beginning of Asylum scared me, but that's about it... Oh and the ending... I really can't get over that mask... I'm terrified of it.
