I looked at him. "Didn't find any? I figured, there's not a scent in the area of blood other than ours." I said and noticed a twitch in alpha at the sound of that.

"No we'll go out and get you something soon, I'll probably be needing one also." I said nd watched alpha who did nothing noticeable to me.

I watched curiously. He was so weird when he was deep in thought about something.

I stood there staring at the ground while alpha cooked silently. Neither of us spoke, but neither of us knew each other well enough to really say anything. When I thought about it I looked up. "Look, I'm sorry about whatever it is I did to make you uncomfortable around me. If you're afraid I'll take your pack, don't worry. I'm not a leader."

He looked at me. "I know it isn't your fault, madchen. I'm sorry for the way we're all acting too. It's just that it's been awhile since we've around someone more powerful than all of us. We all grew accustomed to our own strength and forgot what it was before." He said while still cooking. I nodded, knowing he called me girl in german. "So, I guess you'll continue until you're used to me?" I asked. "Well, nnot only that. You're half vampire so your vampire needs also disturb us a bit, but only because we mostly view you as a wolf. If you were one of the vampires then we wouldn't care, but you understand." I nodded.

I looked at him. "Ah good, I won't have to see you near starvation."

"Hm, I think I'd laugh and worry about you. Am I right?" I looked at alpha. He smiled. "Yeah, though you'd be torn because you wnt to laugh, but you need to worry."

I smiled at him before alpha finished and handed me a plate. "Thanks."

I smiled at him nd started eating.

"Maybe you'll be really funny now that you have energy. Otherwise just to laugh I may need to take all blood away from you." I said.

"I just want you to make me laugh today." I said.

"Like before? Uh huh, you only make me laugh when you tickle me. And normally you do that when we're intimate." I smiled at him.

"Yep." I said. "So impress me with something funny today."
