Different Worlds *sak and i*

I followed quietly.

We made it to town not too long later and we found many places to look around in. Every chance I got I would admire her from a distance but would look away if she even glanced at me.

Every time I looked over at him. he would be looking at something the probably wasn't as important. But it felt like something was off. I sighed we ended up at the pet store at one point to get more cat food for the kitten. And found a new toy for Sylvia to play with the kitten.

I continually watched her, wishing I was in her league. Or that I had the guts to take a chance with her. For all I know she has a boy already, again. It's been 5 months and I wasn't there so I wouldn't know.

Over the five months a lot of Jocks when they first saw me with out him around they started asking me out left and right and I would tell them no. Because I was waiting for him. But I don't know any more. Considering with her moving in few blocks down. I'll never know for sure.

When we were finished it was nearly dinner time so we headed home quietly. My feet were dying anyways.

We got home dad was making dinner. Sylvia was watching tv with the cat. I set the bag of cat food in the kitchen. "Hey dad." I said. "Hey Kiddos. Just in time for dinner." He said. I smiled some.

I smiled at him. "May I ask what's for dinner, sir?" I asked politely.

"Well it enchiladas." he said. I smiled. "Do you need help papa?" I asked and he nodded.

I left them alone and went to my sister.

I helped my dad quietly. Told him that few blocks down we had a new neighbor. But the rest of the time we cooked it was quiet.

I talked with my sister and showed her the cat toys.

I heard the cheerfulness from Sylvia about the toys. I set the table as dad broght the food over. "Alright you two dinner." I said.

"Alright," I said and we went to eat.

We all ate in silence which was not fun.

I was lost in thought about her again, my sister was half paying attention to the cat, and her father was observing my actions amusingly. He looked to his daughter who appeared to be in an awkward position. Neither of the two had cued in on my feelings for her, which for her father im torn between good or bad.

After I finished eatting I escused my self and Took care of my plate and with the cat following I went up to my room. sitting on my bed drawing.

I watched her quietly as I finished eating then placed my plate in the sink. My thoughts were on my problem. She really didn't seem that interested in me back. She had the looks that if she were to start her dating again she could have any guy she wanted, if they were interested. It seemed painful to sit back and watch her date other people but maybe it's easier than rejection.

I sat in my room. I looked through my drawing book of what I had drawn over the 5 months. Each drawing had him in it like a little story. of just a drawing. I stared at the last one of him me was just a silly out of this world dream. I had torn it out of the book and thrown it to get it in my trash can but it ended up being thrown into their room instead. I didn't care I just set my book on the ground and laid down petting the kitten.

After getting a drink of water I sat on the couch. My sister went into our room and found the picture she threw in there accidentally. Then she smiled but wasn't sure what to do with it. She decided to put it somewhere I would find it easily.

I had fallen asleep along with the kitten.

I went upstairs after turning off the TV. I found Misty asleep so I put the cover over her and turned off the light. When I got to my room I did the same with my sister before I changed and threw my shirt into a pile before going to he'd.

I felt the warmth of the blanket. I curled up more.

The next morning I woke up and got started a little earlier than usual with my day.

I still slept quietly. Dreaming about things I wish were true.
