I smiled back.

The rest if the ride was quiet. When we got home everything was fine as we were unpacking the car. But when welocked the car a pack of werewolves appeared.

"Just great.." I stood infornt of her to protect her. "What do you want while on our lands you mutts."

Pack Leader: "we want the girl. One of our pack members went to retrieve her, and never came home. A scout brings us his corpse and naturally we assume she did it," I said. "Seeing you tells me otherwise."

I stayed in front of her to protect her. "Well you aren't getting her." I said.

Pack: "boy, you don't even know who she is, neither does she. That makes her dangerous, beides, this is Wolf business not Vamp."

"Doesnt matter. She staying with us." I said still calm.

P: "I'm giving you one last chance. I don't want a conflict between our kinds," I said and my pack all takes threatening steps towards them.

I didnt.care about the pinic stuff. And stood protective. "No one messes with my mate." I said softly

P: "well then. Kill him and take her," I said as my eyes changed color as I started to shift. 

S: I stood frozen against the car, which was the only thing that kept me standing as I watched all of them.

"Sonia get inside and get my father quickly." I said giving her a a quick lift over to the door. and back to deal with the wolves.

I shook my head before running off to find his dad. Of course I found his mom first sitting in the music room looking a bit lost. I decided to ask later and told her what's happening. 

M: I ran straight to my husband after hearing her story.

E: I heard someone running to my office. I got to the door before she got here. "Whats going on?" I asked quickly.

I start defending my self.

A: "wolves are here attacking our son!" I said quickly and we were running out to him.

E: I wasnt happy about that. "If they are here for Sonia have a few of our vamps protect her. you with them. send any others to help us." I said quickly. and gave her a quick kiss before helping my son.

I saw my dad come to help. after sending another away.

A: I sighed reluctantly and went to find the few who would willingly protect a human without hurting them. Then we locked ourselves into her room.

I got up to their leader. and delt with him. "What is it about her that you mutts want her for."

P: "that is none of your concern." I said.

"Yes it is since shes my mate and I wont let your kind touch her."

P: "tsk, you don't even know her real name, or anything about her." I said as I lunged for him.

I was able to block him with ease. "So. Doesn't matter. Shes under my protection and nothing will stop me." I said. Throwing him against a tree.

P: I stood up and shook myself. "Of course you would say that. Any leader knows to protect the Miles family, but vampires choose to respect them by doing just that," I said.

"What?" I looked at him. "What are you talking about?"

P: I laughed. "Why don't you ask your daddy," I said as I looked around seeing my pack was weak here I called for a retreat and we ran.

I watched them leave. I then turned to my dad. "What was he talking about?"

E: "It can't be." I sighed. "If you don't remember me telling you the stories about the Miles family. Is the family of the Hybrids who have the capabilty of owning both Wolves and Vampire blood. And more."

I just stood there for a second. THen I looked at her window.
