The necklace showed him what lilys true self felt when her taken over self said those things to him and rejected him. It showed that lily hated that the words being said and broke down when the taken of self rejected him. It showed that she loved him and it showed that she was mad for her weakness and wanted to die without him because leaving with hurting him killed her dead inside.

Julia:"we were dating at the time I was 15 we hadn't known we were mates on my 16th birthday he broke things off with me breaking my heart saying I wasn't giving him enough of myself. I was the right age to finally sense my mate and that day I found out he was my mate"
