L.P.O.V

I sat up as I heard someone call my name. I jumped out of bed and moved out to the living room;
“Hello” I said as I realised who it was, “Jake” I grinned moving towards him quickly, he had tears in his eyes, “What’s wrong” I asked wiping a tear from his cheek.
“It’s nothing” He assured me, I sighed
“You can tell me” I looked up at him
“There’s nothing to tell” I said looking down at me, I laid my head on his bare chest and listened to his heartbeat. He wrapped his arms round me, making me feel small and protected; I smiled faintly tracing patterns along his chest. He kissed the top of my head gently. I closed my eyes happily.

S.P.O.V

I phased exhausted. I’d been running faster then I’d ever been before for hours. I headed for home only to walk in on Leah and Jacob, I growled before thinking. They looked at me;
“Sorry” I said quickly, “I couldn’t stop that one” I added as Leah rolled her eyes. Like she’d be able to control herself if she saw me cuddled up with my imprint, if I had an imprint. I moved quickly past them to the kitchen, I raided the cupboards and fridge finding stuff for a sandwich. I made it and went out to watch TV and eat it. I fake gagged as Leah kissed Jacob snuggled on the couch together. She glared at me as I retreated to my bedroom.

J.P.O.V

I hugged Leah to me. She was falling back to sleep, she always seemed tired lately. I yawned, seems I was tired too. I lifted her easily and carried her back to her room, I placed her on the bed and laid beside her my eyes drooping slowly until I was asleep there with her.


KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
I sat up quickly; Leah mimicked my movement and looked at me wide eyed.
“Leah” Sue Clearwater’s voice broke the silence around us, “Get up now” She shouted through the door.
“Um… Ok Mom” I called back, “Give me 5 minutes”
We listened in silence as her mothers footsteps retreated; I let out a sigh of relief.
“That was close” Leah muttered as she climbed out of bed and went through her drawers looking for something to wear. She picked a grey tank top and short black shorts. She smiled at me as she backed into her bathroom before emerging a few minutes later wearing the clothes. She wandered over to me;
“You should go” She whispered hearing her mother moving around the house again
“That keen to get rid of me” I teased
She rolled her eyes, “Never” She smiled, “But you should go see Billy” She told me, “And Paul and Rachel” She added, I nodded
“I’ll see you soon” I kissed her gently and moved to her window, I opened it swiftly and jumped out.

L.P.O.V

I watched Jacob jump from the window and run towards the forest. I smiled to myself before taking a breath and heading for the kitchen. I walked out into Mom;
“Hey” I said smiling; she looked at me confused, obviously questioning my sudden happiness. Should I tell her about Jake and Me. No I wouldn’t, Jake and I would talk about telling Billy and Mom at some point, it’s not like they needed to know.
“Waffles for breakfast” She told me, I grinned happily and moved to plate some up for myself before Seth turned up…too late, Seth barged past me and stacked most of the waffles onto his plate and smothered them in syrup.
“Hey!” I exclaimed, “I was going to eat those”
“You snooze you lose” He said before cramming as much as possible into his mouth. I muttered about him being a disgusting animal, he raised his eyebrows. Mom bustled around telling us something about going round to Charlie’s, me and Seth both raised our eyebrows and nodded, she was always round there now, ever since Dad died.
Sam howled outside, I looked at Seth as he finished the last of the waffles;
“Never any peace anymore” I grumbled heading outside, Seth followed behind closely, “You seem happier today” I told him
“I think I’m getting used to the you and Jacob thing” he told me, I smiled uncontrollably and moved into the forest to phase.
