The Fairest of Them All

"Want to have them sleep in our beds tonight?"

I nodded. "I want them with us at all times."

"Ok." He took Shelby's hand. "Were going to go to bed Alice. Good night."

I kissed Alice and Will goodnight and followed Andrew.

"night." i nodded and laid will down.

Nce we were in our room, I laid down with Hazel.

Andrew layed Damien down next to Hazel

I cuddled close into Andrew. "Night."

"Night." He kissed her head

smiled and fell asleep with no trouble.

I woke up when I heard the babies crying. I was too weak to pick them up, though. "Andrew?" I said, kissing his neck softly.

Andrew heard the babies crying and woke up. Then he heard Shelby's soft voice and felt a light kiss on his neck. "Yes love?" He got up and went to the babies sleepily. They were hot. He took the rags and went into the bathroom and got them went with cold water. He went back to the children and placed the cold rags on them.

I heard them crying and ran over to andrew's room. I walked in and didn't bother to knock. I handed andrew the bottle of baby asprin "give them each 2. It'll help til the doctor comes to check them out. It will help keep the fever down."

I sat up slowly and looked at them. "I wish I could help." I said. I was too weak to stand let a lone move.

I looked at Shelby and smiled. "Sweety you've done enough for the day. Just rest. The guards are bringing you blood on a round schedual so drink when they come. it'll help. Let me and Andrew worry about the babies."

I smiled at Alice. "Thank you so much, Alice. I owe you big time."

I shook my head no "You really don't owe me anything. You've done enough really!" I smiled at Shelby. She had no idea what fait had in store for her....I wasn't about to ruin it eather.

"Not really." I frowned. "I'm too busy being the damsel in distress."

I laughed. I couldn't help it "Sweety trust me. you need your rest. besides who else is going to take care of andrew when he breaks a limb or cuts his head off." I playfully, lightly punched him in the sholder. I was still laughing.

"He better not cut his head off." I smiled.

I smiled "he wont shelby. dont worry."

"Good." I layed down and smiled at her. "I love you, Alice."

"I love you too girl!" I smiled back at her.

I closed my eyes.
