I sighed and walked up to the small house we were standing in front of. I knocked on the door. A small old woman opened the door. "Who's there?" she asked.
"To kill a mocking byrd," I said. It was the pass word for this house.
She nodded and opened to door up farther. "May we stay here the night?" I asked. "We have some people who are following us and in the morning we will have to trade cars."
