When Forever Ends

As the light beat down, kissing her face softly, the darkness shattered, along with her heart. He laid broken, untouched, bright... for the first time ever. A tear escaped her eye, and as she told herself to wake up, wake up from this TERRIBLE nightmare, the gash in her leg seized to burn. But it didn't make up for the aching in her heart. For she knew, as true as true could be, it was her fault. She looked hatefully at the empty space where their capturer had been not so long ago, and cursed his existance.

She looked at her bleached hands, and the light that radiated from them. Then she quickly glanced at him, without the slightest of darkness radiating from him. No, she thought, It can't be. But, alas, she knew it was. She had killed him. The love of her life, gone. Just because of the stone-cold heart their capturer possessed.

His evil words repeated in her head, and she hated herself for listening, even if his power couldn't have been avoided. She heard the mesmerising tone, the powerful, powerful tone in his voice. The tone that demanded her. So inviting, so intense, so... so... so welcoming. A fight. A fight to the death. The winner shall sit beside me. Sit and feast, feast and sit. Every whim fulfilled, every wish obeyed.

He hadn't falled for it, but she had. She had, and so foolishly. She laid down next to him and hummed quietly, thinking of the short day they had mingled. She closed her eyes, and thanked the gash in her leg, as it once again began to burn. The only sound was the words of her love, When Forever ends, only then will I leave you alone. She then peacefully blead to death. And she thanked her lucky stars that she had.
