| Well, here's one random little story that popped in my head: Sitting on the empty bleachers, she looks out across the diamond. thinking back, she remembers the hours they spent out there; talking laughing. She doesn't see. In the dugout, he sits alone. he looks out at the diamond through the chain-link fence. he remembers the good times. Her cheering him on in the stands, playing catch after the games, talking, telling jokes. he sees someone walk onto the pitcher's mound. She walks onto the diamond, she looks to her left. standing on the base-line. She couldn't believe her eyes. He didn't know if he was seeing correctly. Was she really there? They stare at each other, hearts skipping a beat, happiness slowly engulfing them. They run to each other, not caring about the freshly chalked feild they were messing up. "I've missed you," he said as he held her. "I've missed you too," she said as she held him back.To Comment Please Go Here | |
