Will Rephaim choose Light?

I think what happened between Rephaim and Kalona at the end of Burned has to do with the fact that Rephaim has been following orders and doing everything his daddy says for so long, he feels his duty is to be at his side and do what he says, but he's obviously going to fight against it cuz, lets be honest, hes cwaaaazy about Stevie Rae. She makes him feel, that's more than a darn good reason to change, dont you guys think?

Yeah he was, he was created from rape and darkness, remember? So Kalona is basically darkness, so Rephaim is linked to Kalona by blood, he's obviously going to have to follow him. But now, he's linked to Stevie Rae by his humanity, that's, in my opinion, a lot stronger, so even though it's hard to change after soo long of doing the same thing (doing what Kalona wants him to do), I know he will eventually choose Light, he loves S.R, we can see that

I haven't read the book yet, I hope he chooses light, becasue of Stevie Rae. Yeah I'm a geek and into all the romancy stuff, but hey its interesting in the very least.

He's obviously loyal, and I also know that love isnt enough sometimes. But we can tell Rephaim loves Stevie Rae and though it's hard for him to just change from day to the other, I know he's deff going to choose her.

yeah. he has two connections with his two parts of him. but his love for stevie rae and his devotion to his father is really going to be hard for him to deal with.

AGREE. You know what? Right now i'm reading Burned, no, i don't finish. I'm about the half, but i diagonal-road all Stevie rae / Rephaim POV because it's SOOO CUTE. We KNOW that he love her and that she love her and both are so confused and i hope SO MUCH that he will choose her.... *sigh*.
And thinking that Awakened come out just about january discourages me. *sigh2*.
Anyway.
that's my favorite couple. um... well, if they become.

They will most certainly become a couple by the end of the series. It would be terrible to to keep them apart

But a thing that i learn by reading HoN is: never understimate PC + Kristen Cast. They always suprise me with the serie. And that's why i kinda freak about Stevie Rae + Rephaim

I gotta be honest, doesn't bother me. Like Beauty and the Beast, Vampyre style. Nobody has a problem with that. I have the song, "Something There" from Beauty and the Beast and it makes me think of Stevie Rae and Rephaim everytime i do.

oh i love that comparison. that's like actually perfect. because it's true. they both have to fight they're inner beast and try to find their humanity and fall in love.

i dunno, i hope he does as seeing at the end of the book they are so close up unital they both feel Zoey and his father coming back. I'm almost sure he will as seeing how much of a hold on him she has.

Well nothing more then PG happens before Beast transforms. After he transforms, they're pretty happy to smooch at random moments

lol if you look back stevia rae starts to think about what it would be like with rapheam untill she realizes she cant even kiss him because of his beak. I hope he chooses light and turns into a real boy. (lol no diney pun inteded)

But seriously. How do we all think it's going to happen? I think that Neferet, what with having Dominion over Kalona's soul, will be setting about doing something truely "FOR THE EVULS!" but using his father to do so. I think Rephaim would be like "This is really bad... I need to stop this... But how? I know, Stevie Rae will know how to fix this. After all, her best friend is connected to Father's soul." Then Rephaim could be one of the good guys for a while, because i think everyone would agree that Neferet needs to be taken out and that Rephaim could help them in area. There's the sacrifice Neferet needs to make. Darkness seperates Kalona's spirit from his body and to sends him on his way to the Other World, in exchange she agrees to "sacrifice to you the life of an innocent you have been unable to taint." Who will be this sacrifice? Because if Neferet doesn't sacrifice them or sacrifices someone who has been tainted by Darkness, the whole "owning Kalona's soul" kinda comes undone. I mean the entire book is about payment of debt, so i think this is pretty important. Unless Neferet's just killed some innocent bystander whose had nothing to do with any of this.

haha we understand. but i think there could be a way for them to be together even if he chooses Light but stays in his Raven Mocker form.
