The Constant Battle
We are constantly fighting
But I am always the one getting hurt
But this pain is not physical, it's worse
The bruises are on my lungs, making it hard to breathe
The bleeding is from my heart, making me scream
The punches come from my eyes, the tears just won't stop!
And when this battle is over
I am left alone to think
That I will never be good enough to win the fight

-Sigh- I'm feeling very down today xD
I guess this is my way of getting my feelings out o_O
And since it's been so long, there's so many xD

But I resist, because I am the bigger person
The jokes you make
Makes me truly question what people see in you
Your just a two-faced jerk
A liar and a faker
Someone who can never be trusted
I would know
You double crossed me
But no matter what I tell myself
Or what you do
The truth is
I will never stop loving you~

I kinda wrote this based on how I feel right now

Tomorrow
Tonight is the last night
That I will think of you in such a bad way
That the things you say will haunt my dreams
I promise you tomorrow we can start anew
But for now
You are still the cloud that darkens my day
And rains on my parade
You are still the fist that collides with my face
After a vicious battle of words
Our fighting never ends
And it's beginning to wear me out
I never seem to have energy anymore
I'm like a wind up toy
Always being wound up to keep on going
But if I'm too tightly wound,
I'll snap
And then things will go gray again
And you will appear in my nightmares
But tomorrow everything starts out fresh
No matter what I do
I can never hold a grudge over you
No matter what you say
I'll always be able to forgive
But never forget
The words will still haunt me into yet another tomorrow
And I always say tomorrow I'll forget
But yesterday seems to fade into nothingness by the time tomorrow comes
And then I find myself chanting
Tomorrow will be the last day...

Ignorance
Sometimes it's easier to lie and hide
Than deal with the things you feel inside
Even though eventually they must come out
I'd rather live in denial and doubt
If I had to face everything I feel
I'm afraid I may never be able to heal
From the wounds that those truths will uncover
And all the secrets everyone will discover
So maybe hiding and faking a smile isn't do bad
When if you didn't, everyone would know you were really sad
Then they would pity you
And maybe even judge you too
No one needs to know the truth
That will just make them snoop
And you don't need those stupid whispers and lies
That will have everyone hypnotized
Then everyone will try to get to know you through and through
To do that, they will all watch you
I'd be like my own personal show, and their like an audience
But I don't want that, I'd rather live my life in ignorance

Hiding
No matter what you say or what I do
Everday just turns out the same way
We pick what ever little thing we can to fight
But I am the child, and you hold all the power
So I'm stuck sitting there, wiping the tears that slipped out
With nothing to do but remain silent
As you stand and look me in the eyes
And tell me all my flaws
As if I never did anything right
Then you walk away, and I stay silently crying
Wondering how things got so bad
And when I try to figure out
You just start the fighting again
Then soon everything becomes my fault
And hearing all this, whether it's the truth or just a lie
Hurts me so bad words can't even describe
But you'll never know
Because I'm constantly putting on an act
If I even try to let you know how I feel
Our fighting starts again
And then I want to hate you so bad it hurts
All you do is make me cry!
But I can't seem to resent someone I've loved for so long
So tell me, how do I handle how I feel inside?
Well, I pretend nothing ever happened on the outside
Because within minutes, it seems he forgot
So I pretend I do too
Then we can move on with our lives
But no matter how much I try to deny and lie
Those hurtful things you say
Never leave my mind
