Kevin heard the scream and looked at his sister. She was already asleep. He rushed out to find Rose. He knocked on the restroom door and sighed "May I come in? Are you okay?"

Rose quickly shut herself up. "No I'm fine." She said as she grabbed a towel wrapped it around her waist and walked out to cover herself. She limped to her room. The alcohol and bloody clothes still on the floor.

Kevin peered inside the restroom and saw the alchol then looked at the bloody clothes. He sighed and picked up both things and followed her to her room. He stayed in the door way and held the things out to her. "You'll be okay. Just take it easy."

Rose wrapped her leg with an old shirt, grabbed a new pair of black yoga-like pants and put them on in her closet so he couldn't see. She walked out grabbing her stuff from him. "i know i'll be fine." She said. "I've taken care of myself before. I can handle a stupid bullet wound. it just was stinging a lot." She said as she threw away the bloody pants.

"Well that happenes when you pour alchol on an open wound." He said sarcasticly. All he was doing was trying to help. He didnt need to attitude from a girl who was limping around her house. He growled and lifted her up into his arms and carried her to her bed "I said take it easy, okay?" He told her forcefully

Rose rolled her eyes at his sarcastic comment, but didn't expect him to touch her let alone pick her up. She jumped a bit when he touched her and then was slightly stiff in her body as he held her. When he put her down she got shy and moved away from him a little. "I have things i need to get done. I can't just sit here." She said as she didn't look at him.

"You can," He said looking into her eyes "And you will." He turned to walk away but stopped and turned back to face her "Can I tust you to go to sleep for the night or do I have to sit here all night to make sure?"

Rose looked at Kevin. "I'm a big girl. I can take care of myself daddy." She said sarcastically. She couldn't help but see the sheen in his eyes before and then pushed the thoughts back. She looked away form him and thought to wait until he walked away from the door so she could go eat.

Kevin growled and picked her up again. He shook her a little bit when she started to fight. He slowly walked to her bed to put her back in bed and held her their a little "Ill get you what you need. Just tell me what to do."

Rose growled back. "Knock it off!" She hissed. "Look, i understand you are trying to help, i do. I don't understand why, but that's not the point." She got up again and started to slowly walk down the stairs. She wasn't used to having people take care of her. She was actually freaked out by the idea and didn't know how to react to it.

kevin followed after her. He sighed and picked her up again but instead of taking her back to bed he walked her down the stairs and set her down on a chair. "You dont have to be so guarded all the time."

Rose groaned a bit when he picked her up again, but was glad that he took her downstairs. His comment made her chortle. "You must be kidding me." She said as she adjusted herself in the chair. She watched him move around. "all I need is some bread, cheese, and water." She said as she reached over to her arrow making kit.

Kevin walked into the gigantic kitchen and looked around for a while before he found the bread. Then he looked into the refirgerator for the cheese. He found it and grabbed a cold bottle of water while he was in there. He brought all of it to her on a plate.

She nodded at him. "Thank you." She said as she pulled the stuff out of her kit. She didn't eat properly because she never usually had people around. She grabbed the bread, took a bite, and did the same with the cheese right after. She looked at him. "You can have some..." She said as she looked away and worked on the point for the arrow.

Kevin shook his head "Im not hungry." He said, smiling at her. "Im going to go check on Ari." He said, walking up the stairs. Once he was up the flight of stairs he went to the room that his sister was in. He found her still aleep. She looked peaceful

Rose watched him leave and looked at her kitchen. He didn't take anything. She went back to work on the arrow. The point of the arrow was very sharp and that's how she liked it. Once that was done she started to work on the fletching (feathers) and thought to herself. She'd be awake all night. She didn't sleep much anymore. About 2-4 hours was enough for her.

Kevin walked back down stairs and sighed, then yawned. He realized he was still shirtless, but he didnt care. He looked at her "Are you going to go to sleep anytime soon? You need to rest that leg."

Rose just shook her head without looking at him. "I'll be fine. I'll sleep whenever you two leave." She said. She glued the fletching on and sat down. She still couldn't get herself to look at him. She didn't know what to think about him.

Kevin glarred at her comment "Well then we can leave right now." He knew it was dark and they had little to no chance of surviving out there. He started to walk back up stairs to wake up his sister

Rose shook her head. "You're so stupid. I just got shot for nothing then." She retorted as she still worked on her arrows. "If i knew you just wanted to kill your sister I would've just kept walking." She said as she took another bite of her food.

"No, If you wont sleep and get the rest you need with us here. Then we'll leave." He thought about it, he'd be able to leave by himself and get around the guys who would kill him. But only if he was by himself. His sister would give them away. Rose was right she'd die. She doesnt know how to fight "Fine. Ill leave. And Ill come back for Ari tomorrow when its light. Shes asleep, she wont be in your way." He walked towards the door.

Rose just shook her head. "You know she is going to leave as soon as she knows you're gone. I don't even have family and I know better." She said as she put the arrows down and got some paint brushes. "All I want is to be able to stay away. i DON'T sleep much anyway. The fact that people are in my house isn't something that helps me sleep." She said admitting how untrusting she was. She sat down and dipped the brushes in the paint. "if you are so concerned about my well being sit down." She said not looking at him.

Kevin ignored Rose and continued toward the door. Once he got there he realized only she could open the gates. He turned toward her "Care to open the gates?"

Rose laughed. "For the sake of not having to deal with your sister when she wakes up, no." She looked at him. "There is a bed you can sleep in, or you can sit here and deal with me moving around." She added as she worked on the designs for her arrow shafts.

Kevin closed the door and sat down. He watched Rose, fuming each time she moved her leg. Why couldnt this stubborn girl Listen to him? He knew her leg had to hurt...
