I gave her a mocking smile. "Oh so you think." I said and turned away.

I looked at Felicia. "Are you okay?" I asked just as Alexander started to cry

"No, i'm not okay"

"I didn't think you would give up this easily" I heard a voice, it was strange yet familiar, Grandpa, the Elder

"He won't do anything. Trust me he isn't stong enough." I said and walked over to the baby. "Even with your sisters army nothing will happen not if I'm in charge."

"I know he can't do anything, he's too low down to judge, Grandpa, what can we do?"

"All we can do is let the future unfold, even this old man can't really do much"

I picked Alexander up and tried to sooth him. I looked up at her. "Trust me. I'll train the men myself if he tries something."

I smiled "Thank you, we will need them prepared, we have no time to waste"

"He won't get very far, he'll have to go through me first"

"Err, grandpa, i think its best you don't fight, this war is too dangerous, i know your the elder, but you will be needed here."

"There is something you don't know about this old man, my dear"

I looked at her. "I'm going to round up the troops." I said and handed the baby to her.

I took Alexander "I think its best you take gramps, to keep him happy, and he has been through his fair share of wars, so he could help"

"Aye, i know a trick or two for war"

I nodded and bowed to him. "Its a pleassure to have a skilled elder on our side. sir." I said

"Wow, i feel honored, back in my day, we wouldn't bow or greet others, we just got on with what we were doing. Right, we need to have the troops gathered for what i will teach you"

"Have fun, and be careful" I said to them both

I looked around and gave a war cry and all the men came running.

"Wow, your good. Right, our plan is simple, half of you will go into battle, while the other half wait behind with my men, the king's men, and the men of the other 6 elders and their kings. we will out wit the fool by millions"

I looked at him. "I didn't know we were going to have that many people." I said "This changes the whole battle plan and makes it stronger."

I looked around. "THere is a chance that we won't lose any men."

"Of course we won't, not if we use these" i said, holding a bag "Sleeping pills, they make you groggy when you wake, if we can put them in the food of the enemy's army, then they will be easy to defeat. They have no scent or taste, and dissolve clearly when they hit food or drink."

"How am I going to get into the enemys camp? They know who I am."

"Thats slaughter."

"I don't mind the troops we need them. But going in and killing them without a fair fight thats slaughter." I said

"Thats all we need." I said and looked at the troops. "Start practicing. Practice til we break our fast in the evening."

I took a deep breath and sheathed my sword.
