Doc: I come out and sigh. "He must've taken on an army. The only thing that kept him alive is his drive to save his children. He is still alive of course, but he's seriously hurt, and who knows how long before he can walk or do anything. He'll be stuck in bed," I said.

I sigh, "He won't like that" I look at the doctor, "How bad is it?"

Doc: "He's broke multiple bones in his body, many bruises, and we may have to give him surgery just to fix some other issues that we're currently still looking at. But for now he is able to see the kids, but don't let them crawl around him too much."

I nod and I let the kids in after saying the rules

I look at them quietly.

"Hayden..." I look at him sadly

I look at her. "Hey." I said in a gruff voice.

"I'm sorry" I say and go over to him holding his hand

I hold hers but not as strongly. "It's not your fault."

"It is though"

"How is it your fault that I got hurt trying to rescue our kids?"

"I could have helped"

"Someone had to stay with our son," I said.

"I know"

"So it's not your fault."

"You could have died" I whisper

"For my family. It would've been worth dying for."

I look down at him, "What would I do without you"

"I don't know, but I'm alive, that's what matters," I said.

I start crying softly

I pull her to me so we can hold each other and the kids join in. Even Jr, who again got help from his brother.

"I can't live without you"

"And we can't live without you," I said speaking for the kids.

"You won't"
