Heritage *Started but OPEN*

i closed my eyes and revelled in the peacefulness.

i walked calmly on auto pilot to my room. i knew i had a temper but i'd never been so angry at anyone before in my life, save the one time but even then it was nothing like that. i was shocked.

I breathed deeply and sighed in content

I closed myself in my room and fell onto the bed, surprised at my temper back there

i guessed i should probably go back and apologise to him, i thought as i washed the cuts on my hands and bandaged them, but i knew my pride wouldnt let me and he'd probably think i was weak. i cursed and flung myself onto the bed.


'we should probably go back,' i said. 'see the damage.' i laughed.

I shook my head snapping back into reality, "Oh" I said, "Yeah..we should" I smiled

I punched my wall causing a fist sized hole, I grumbled aand covered it quickly with a poster, I laid back on my bed

i lay there for a while but soon got bored. i dragged myself off the bed and out of the room, i was gonna explore while i was in the mood for it.

i smiled at her and walked back into the campus building. there was no angry voices so i pushed open the dining room door.
'well it's a bit of a mess,' i admitted. 'those two arent gonna like the punishment though,' i chuckled. 'they've got to clean it all up together. teamwork sort of thing.'

I laughed, "I'd love to watch that" I said, "But I'm a little worried of flying tables"

I eventually calmed down and got up, I left my room and wandered

i grinned. 'they'd only have to start over again until it was spotless. hopefully they will have learnt not to argue by then.' i winked at her. 'it's a good and reasonable punishment. dontcha think?'

i avoided the dining room and just wandered about corridors until i was sufficiently lost. i hadnt thought to bring the map with me either. i cursed and sunk to the floor, against a wall.

I smiled, "Very good" I said, "Maybe they'll learn that smashing stuff at each other only gets them spending more time together"

I walked around aimlessly

'exactly,' i laughed.

i dropped my head in my hands and let out a loud sigh which turned into a sob. i didnt want to be a freak i wanted to be at home.

I smiled and laughed with him

I saw Rana against the wall, I sighed and turned back

i sobbed again and it turned into a half hiccup as i tried to stop tears that were welling up in my eyes. why'd it have to be me that was the freak, i never wanted this.

'would you like something to eat?' i asked. 'we were supposed to be eating here but the kitchen has a table in it so we can eat there. i think i'll send Ms. Randal to reroute the others to the kitchen instead.' i laughed.

I looked over my shoulder at her, she was crying..why did I care, she hated me and I really didn't like her much back

"I'd love something to eat" I said realising how hungry I actually was,

i brought my knees up and hid my face in them. this day sucks. i sighed noisily, i wanted someone but i also wanted to be left alone, i wanted my mom most of all.

'this way,' i said leading her to the kitchen.

I walked with him to the kitchen, "So" I said, "What sort of thing do you learn here?"

I decided to walk off

'to control our power, learn about demons and basically how to not expose yourself to humans. you also learn about other supernaturals too.' i said. 'it's good fun, plus i get to demonstrate for you in class and that means incinerating a chair or something.' i laughed.

i looked up i heard something. the corridor was empty. i shivered and stood. i felt the hairs on the back of my neck rise as a presence washed over me.
'okay you can stop messing around now. ' i said irritation covering my unease. the feeling didnt go but got worse.
'stop it, go away,' i said in a high voice.

"Sounds like fun" I said, "Except I have to get really angry to even get my power to work" I told him, "It'll be cool watching you burn stuff to crisp though" I smiled

I walekd away faster

'well soon you wont have to wait to be angry,' i laughed. 'and yes burning stuff is fun.'

i could feel my skin itching as i ran down the corridor in fright. i passed someone but the presence was still touching me. i swatted around trying to get rid of it i didnt look to see if anything was there i was to scared. instead i carried on running.

I laughed, "Good" I said

I heard running

i ran blindly round the corner and into someone, knocking them down with me.
'get it off me,' i yelled. it felt like i had a hundred spiders crawling over my back. little fingers touching me, i wanted to scream.

i smiled at her.
'here we are this is the kitchen.'

I smiled and looked around, "Wow"

"sor" I started automatically, "Oh"

'it's big i know, i was like all this space, but we can fit a large table in here as well.' i said indicating to one.

i swatted at my back.
'make it go away.' i had my eyes squeezed tightly shut. the presence made my skin run out in goosebumps i'm suprised the person i ran into couldnt feel it too, it was horrible.

I raised my eybrows, "You..um ok?"

I smiled still looking around, I went over to the table

'cant you feel it? it's horrible.' i stopped myself from whimpering as i recognised the voice.

'have a seat and i'll ruslte something up. what would you like?' i asked.

"there's nothing here" I said, "Just you and me"

I smiled and sat at the huge table, "Anything" I said, "Surprise me"

'you're wrong, i can feel it. i felt it.' i said. 'like something crawling, something evil.' i shuddered but the sensation had gone now. i tired to get up, wobbling as i did. i looked at him and swallowed my pride.
'sorry about earlier but you set me off.' i said quietly before turning away with as much dignity as i could muster.

'okay.' i said. 'omelette it is, that's the extent of my culinary knowledge.' i grinned.
