Evan moved closer to Win and pressed his face against his arm, trying to block out the sound of Sahsa's voice. He relied on Win a lot, like an older brother; if anyone could shut her up, it would be him.

Evan hoped.

I laughed. "Get me a cloth." I said. I pushed my hand to my wound harder. I could feel the hole it left.

I took one of the bigger bandages and said to them, "This is going to be loud." And hurt. I stuck 2 fingers in the hole and gasped. I could feel the bullet. I grabbed it fast and pulled it out with one scream.

Evan couldn't help but smile when Win wrapped his arm around his shoulder. It reminded him of a gesture his real brother Jeff used to make...before he found out what Evan was.

When Rosie offered him the bandages, he felt for them and then blushed when he remembered that he couldn't apply them here in the open. He'd have to remove his pants for that.

"Um... Win?" he said, a bit nervously. "Could you lead me into the mine? I have to...put these on. My thigh. On my thigh."

When in the mine, Evan felt around until his hand rested on a large boulder, where he sat. He removed his pants, set them aside, and began wrapping the bandage around his thigh. It hurt a lot worse than it had when he hadn't been touching it.

Evan let go of the bandage and sat back as Win took care of it.

After a few minutes of silence--awkward silence, at that, since Evan kept getting strange chills every time Win made another wrap with the bandage--he said, "So... What do you think of the girls? Kind of crazy, huh?"

Ping looked over the seen. She tried to find a spell in her book for healing. Her bangs kept getting in her way and she was shaking from having run after everybody else.
