Evan just stood by, watching as the others helped Sasha. He'd stumbled through the freakin' woods--blind--and had just brought her back, covered in cuts, bruises, and God only knew what else. This was his thanks? A bunch of cursing?

Scoffing, he moved away from the girls and headed toward the entrance of the shaft. Or so he thought. He still couldn't see and didn't know the place well enough to get around on hearing alone.

"Can't hear you over the sound of Sasha's whining," he called in a sing-song voice. After all, it was just a bullet wound. He'd been stabbed in the thigh by the human chasing him, close to certain areas that didn't need stabbing, but he wouldn't let the girls know that.

Evan shrugged.

"Guess so." He was normally a pretty nice guy, but Sasha always brought the worst out of him. He'd tolerate her, but it didn't mean he had to like her.

"It's just a little scratch," he said firmly, trying to ignore Sasha and replace his lip rings. He could never wear them during shifting.
