Evan grinned stupidly; he didn't even have to check a mirror to know that the look on his face was idiotic, but he couldn't help it. Back home, his parents only commented on his disabilities, even those that had nothing to do with his blindness, and the only family member he felt close to had been Jeff. After leaving, though, even the thought of his older brother hadn't comforted him and he felt alone even in a group of others just like him. He'd bonded with Win immediately after he'd decided to open up a little, and it was nice to know that Win saw him the same way.

"You know, we could arrange that," Evan said slyly in response to Win's comment. "I don't think the girls and Sky would even notice."

I groaned, I felt like a cat still. I turned over and opened my eyes. Vitani! She was alive. "Vitani! I am So sorry!!" I looked around I found a bag and grabbed some clothes. "Are there any boys around here?"

Ping woke up her headache gone. She felt her hand touch something. My book? She thought confused. Then she remembered Sasha freaking out, Vintani getting injured and her trap failing. Ping looked to see if anyone else was around.

I turned around and saw Ping. "Oh my gosh! Ping! I am so sorry. I lost it back there. Is there any way to forgive me?" I asked.y

Ping turned to see Sasha. "Forgive you? I am not in a position to forgive. I could have stopped you from hurting Vintani but I wasn't strong enough... I'm sorry." Ping squirmed sadly at her failure but smiled at Sasha. "You acted like any one would. It was our duty as your friends to stop you." She said with a nod. "Next time I will."

I was fighting back tears. "But I have never lost control before." I said. "I am sorry. Um.." I said looking around again. "Do you see any guys?"

Ping looked around. "I don't know where they went." She said she sat down next to Vintani and flipped through her book.

when I was back to human forum I knew it. No clothes. I quickly slipped on my clothes and said, "Thanks for shielding your eyes and I am now decent."

Ping nodded. She looked done at the page she was on. "Vampires..." She read. "Often need more then just healing magic to be compleatly healthy. They also require blood to sustain their life." Ping looked thoughtful for a moment. Where am I going to get blood. "Um... Sasha we may need blood."

Evan's ears pricked, picking up Sasha's and Ping's voices.

"The girls are back, " he told Win, and then he yelled, "Are you all alright?"

Ping looked back at the book. "Well... human blood is the most potent and will bring any injured vampire to their strongest state. But it looks like we might need a lot." She said still have joking. But if it was the hunters or Vintani I know who I would chose.

Ping heard Even and hoped he hadn't heard what her and Sasha were talking about.

I froze. "I'm coming to get you!" I yelled. "I'll be back in a sec Ping." I started running in his direction.

I found Evan just a little in the tunnel he was with Win. "I'll take him," I said grabbing hold of Evan. "Are you alright?"

"Well, I just totally lost it and attacked Vitani, Ping and Rose. Nothing out of the ordinary. I am going to get you to Ping. She was the one who can heal stuff easily." I said to him. I grabbed him putting him on my back and ran back to the front.

Ping saw Sasha and Evan come out of the shaft. She knew that she had enough magic to help and this time it wouldn't explode into a ball of fire. Hopefully
