A Sister's Love [X]

I shook my head "I want to go home." I was scared. I knew my heart was racing. I started to cry harder and brought my good hand up to my face to try to hide my tears.

I wrapped my arms around her and kissed the top of her head.

"you have to stay here and let yourself heal..."

jake was trying so hard.....

i listened to his heart beat.

I shook my head "I can heal at home. I can't stay here...." I was waiting for him to force me back down onto the bed and rest.

I kept myself steady. "We should go get our coffee." I smiled

I wanted to jump up and help him.

"Im not going to push you back down on the bed. lay down Samantha."

"oh...um......yea.....we probably should......"

he was being daring now.

I looked at him and narrowed my eyes. "You don't tell me what to do." The tears ran down my face. I was scared out of my mind.

I smiled and walked with my arm around her to the coffee.

I shook my head. You don't tell sammy what to do.

"ok. then please lay down."

i smiled...i liked this.....

he was being too daring.....

A nurse saw my increased heart rate and ran in and put a needle in me. I fell back down onto the bed and closed my eyes. I hated that stupid stuff they gave me. My breathing slowed and I was forced to sleep.

I kissed the top of her head and pulled her close.

I saw the nurse come in and looked at the clock. "We should be going to Sammy's house. We have a lot to talk about." I looked at Carla.

i sat down. "Let me guess she doent like being told what to do."

"Um yea. she doesnt." i told him. "oh yea...we should..."

i felt......happy....truely happy....

I stood up and waited for them. "You have a lot to learn. Rose is the easy one to get. Sammy......Well lets just say we have a lot to clue you in on."

I felt like I could just spin her around and pick her up.

I slept ok. My head was spinning with questions and no answers.

"Oh boy...." i said.

"Its ok jake. you'll learn. hey alice why did you and rose leave?"

i think id run away with him if he asked....

I moved my fingers in my sleep and my face. I was dreaming of riding. I tryed to turn onto my side but the tube in my chest stopped me cold and had me gasping for air. It hurt so bad I couldn't move.

I saw Sammy try to turn and knew that wasn't going to end well. I looked at Jake "Gently pull her closer to you to put her on her back. Go to fast and she's going to fight you. You have to go slow."

When we got to the coffee I got her cup and handed it to her. I simled at her.

i took the cup he handed me and smiled back at him.

i nodded and slowly put her on her back.


he was good for her...i just hoped she would like him back.

I grabbed his hand to stop him. "No" I mumbled. My hand squeezed his and then dropped. I drifted back into sleep.

I smiled "She's ok. We really shouldn't have had you here in the first place. She doesn't like to show when she is weak. She has to be strong even though she is the youngest." I rubbed Sammy's sholder to calm her.

I took another cup and sipped it. I needed some coffee.

"I dont care." i told alice. "i-i think i lover her...."

i took a sip out of mine. i looked into his eyes.

I smiled. "Good. Your going to need to love her to get through to her. She isn't always this bad when you tell her to do something. Just when she is like this she takes a lot of things to harshly. She will settle down."

I looked into her eyes and studied her features. "Can I ask you something?"

"anything..."i told him


i nodded.

"Alice we should go...."

"Don't freak when I ask ok? But Jake really likes Sammy. Is there anyway you can help him?" I felt sorry for him and wanted to do anything I could to help.

I nodded "Let's go before we are late. Sammy wasn't kidding when she said they would get mad." I started to walk to the door.

My face was relaxed. My heart was beating normal and I was starting to breath without the help of the tube.

"She'd have to see that i um...... love someone......" i felt my face flush a little.....

carla and jake got and walked out of the room.

I put my hand up and stroked her cheek "You don't have to blush or pause." I smiled.

I walked out to Sammy's truck and got in and started it up. We needed to go quickly.

carla and jake got in and buckled up.

he understood! i smiled.....it reached my eyes......

I drove to sammy's house and parked the truck where she always had it. "The barn is this way. Were going to have to go into her room and get her plans for feeding though." I started to walk to the barn.

*sleeping*

I smiled back at her. I was happy that I was with her. I pulled her close and held her. I kissed her on the cheek.

their house was so big...they had a lot of land to roam......."What do their parents do for work?"

i smiled and nuzzled into him.

I shruged "Nobody really knows. Some people say that they are dead. I'm not sure honistly. I'm surprized you arn't asking why we arn't going to Sammy's bedroom."

I hugged her closer.

"id assume you already know how to feed her animals...... hey alice why did you and rose take so long to come back?"

i wrapped my arms around his waist.

"Actually I dont. She changes it every month. and we were..........talking." I smiled.

I kissed her on the lips.
