Ana coughed, her throat was dry and it scratched every time she took a breath.
She slid off the bed and tried putting her weight on her feet, at first they couldn't hold her up but slowly she was able to stand.
She slowly made her way over to the hospital bathroom.
She entered and went over to the water fountain, she took a swig of water and let it cool her throat.
She made her way back out towards the hospital bed and Dougie who was still sat there.
"Thank-you" She smiled, her voice a little stronger, "I know I've said it already, but I just...I really thought I was going to die. I really thought that was it." Her eye's began to well up. "Sorry" She murmered out as she wiped her eye's on the back of her sleve. "I'm just so tired and shook up." Her hands began to shake, "See, now I'm shaking I'm that low on energy."
Her stomach rumbled. And she laughed with what little energy she had left. "Do you want to go the canteen?" She asked, "I'm that hungry I could faint" She smirked.

I nodded.

"I..I need to walk around...get used to this...I'm sorry..."I got up and left, not looking anywhere but the floor.

I made my way back to the Nurses office, where I'd be helping out.

"Hey, how are you Ana? Douggie?" I walked up to them.

I sat on a bed...feeling like I couldn't control my body..

"So...how are you?"

So Mina had changed, I was happy for her, I smiled at at her and Ana,

"Uh...Douggie..we still need to talk..." I stayed far, because I didn't know what I would do if I as close...

I looked at Mina, "Right" I said, "Ok"

I nodded and looked down..

"Uh...where do you want to talk..your room?"

I shrugged, "Don't care"

Inodded and got up.

"Um..ok..so lead the way...to where ever.."

I nodded and left the room, I got to the common room, there was no one there, I sat down

I followed him, trying not to think of the blood I had drank here earlier..

"So um...I'm sorry.." I didn't look at him...I didn't want to lose any control..

I half smiled, "It's ok," I said, "I acted like a butthead"

"Yeah..." I smiled a little and chanced a look.

Mistake..I was on edge and I wanted something..

"Oh..no..I..I uh.."I stared at him..

I looked at her confused

I tried not to move but it didn't work. I moved forward and sat next to him. I snifft lightly. He smelled good...in more ways than one..

"Uh..Douggie..do you...still...like me...?"

'Please sya no...it'll be better...' I thought.

I looked at Mina, "Erm...well" I said, "I still like you" I told her, "But after everything we've been through over the last couple of days I think you should be with Jason"

I wished he wouldn't of said he still liked me...I couldn't

"I am confused...I don't know.." I tried to move away but ended up moving closer.

She moved closer to me again, she didn't look comfortable, I didn't know what to say, "You're with Jason now" I said, "Don't worry about me"

"I can't...do that...I..I have feelings for you too..I like you too..." I was ready to cry.

'I wish I knew what happened...after I called Air..'

She looked ready to cry, I stood up, "Mina" I said looking at her, "You're with Jason" I told her, "One kiss was all that ever happened to us" I said remembering back to the movie theatre

"I've liked you since before...and then you left...and then you come back and are all nice to me..holding me...Jason wasn't holding me before...was he...it was you..." I felt the tears fall but couldn't stop it.

I looked at her, "I only held you for a couple of minutes" I said, "Jason held you for most of it" I added, "I was there holding your hand like I promised I would"
