House of night ~ New Generation

" well im from a small town by buffalo New york"

"California" I said eating more gummy bears

You guys like gummy bears dont you haha.

" yeah she loves them alot..... just like diana loves her chocolate and dorritos"

Yah i know.

I smiled, "Yeah," I said, "And Jelly Beans" I added, "Or skittles" I thought for a minute, "Anything with lots of sugar and that we shouoldn't be eating"

" now that is so true..."

After watching Iris leave, Leric sighed and turned to her computer clicking a few icons so music would play on it. Smiling and hearing the first few notes from her favorite band of Evanescence play out from the speakers, she turned and stood up from her computer chair. Leaning over the packing cartons on her bed, she pulled out some oil paintings of portraits she did of her 'family' during her time with them and quietly hung them on the walls.

Pulling out a few Japanese Paper Lanterns, she strung them over her bed. Pulling out the drama books that Eric had given her she smiled down at them seeing the complete works of Shakespere...her favorite being Othello and MacBeth. Turning and pulling out some more books, she put them on the shelves then stopped, seeing a piece of canvas sticking out.

Furrowing her eyebrows, she slowly pulled it out then frowned down at it seeing what looked like a man in shadows with wings and long black hair. Shaking her head, she felt like she should know and remember who he was but part of her for some reason couldn't. Blinking, she silently let the picture lay on the bed.

Turning, she grinned and decided to do what she always did when something bothered her and she couldn't remember something. Pulling out her cello case, she turned off the music on her computer and started playing the cello, the first few strains of music starting out beautiful and sad then slowly picking up.

((Sorry for the long post. Just felt like writing lol))

I walked into the common room confused,"Hey guys!"I said to Sandra, Iris, Tyler, and Taylor.

I looked up at Diana, "Hey," I said smiling and throwing her a gummy bear

O hey diana!

I caught the gummy bear in my mouth,"I've been praciticing!"I said,"So what are you all doing here?I would have thought you'd all be scattered, and i'd never find you,"

I laughed, "I found Iris here" I said, "Then Tyler joined us" I added, "We're just eating candy"

And i kinda found them all.

I nodded

So what have you been doing.

" ive been working on drawings "

cool.

" yeah it is im gonna use it for class tomorrow.... show them my master piece"

Cool iris!

" yeah it is.... so ..." i get up and grab a pear from the fridge and eat it
