"Really?" I asked surprised. "Would you be interested in giving it back then?" I just wanted to see how far she was going to go. My brother would indeed want her to have it but... a guy's gotta try.

I took it off and held it out at arms length by the clasp.

I pressed my lips. Wow. I held out my hand for her to give me the necklace.

I dropped the necklace into his hand. It was his brothers after all. Without the necklace on you could see all the scars on my neck from long ago. Some from the fight. Others self inflicted. Some even brand new.

I gripped the necklace. Wow. She was honest. Then I noticed the scars on her neck. "What happened?" I asked. My brother probably got to her sooner then we thought.

I looked at him cutely "What do you mean?" I tilted my head a little and my hair fell out of the way more to show deeper ones on my back that disappeared under my shirt.

"Sasha!" Raksha gasped. "What the heck happened to your neck?" Then I walked around her. "And your back."

My face turned a dark red. Stupid Jason couldn't keep his mouth shut. I smiled at Raksha "Just a few scratches is all. Nothing big..." Some were even still red from last night.

"Nothing big?" I asked. I moved some of her hair revealing more scars. "Is that what you call nothing big?" I asked.

I nodded "Yea why?" I hoped she wouldn't move my shirt to much. Some of them were self inflicted and were from last night. Some even spelled out words. The worst ones were on my thys.

I shook my head. "We need to talk," I said grabbing her arm. "We'll be back in a minute." I said to Jason and I pulled her out of hearing distance before I spoke again. "What the h*ll do you mean no big deal? Those are huge Sasha!"

I looked around her "No they really arn't. I'm fine. Some...well most are from my fight with Jason's brother..." I wasn't going to go any farther with that statement unless I was forced to. "They really arn't to huge."

"Some?" I asked. "What are the others from? And don't say training. No one gives scars as big as those unless they want to get kicked out! They are huge! Well they are as far as I can see."

I looked down at the ground "No one gave them to me." I knew sadness showed in my eyes as I slowly looked up at her and back down to the ground.

"No one.." I said confused. Then I hugged her. "What happened Sasha?"

I wouldn't let the tears fall. No matter how much I wanted them to. "I did them myself. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him and wish I wouldn't have killed him...or wish that I didn't love him...They are to remind me why I keep going." I wouldn't dare to look at Jason. That was the last thing I needed to do.

"Oh," I said. "Sasha, he would have killed you if you hadn't."

I just shook my head slowly "I know...I've always known but I can't help but wish I wouldn't have. My back isn't as bad as my thys. I don't do stupid stuff like slit my wrist. Just my back and neck a little and my thys..."

"Sasha..." I said. "You can't do that. It's wrong."

I shrugged one sholder "I know but I also can't stop. They say time heals all wounds and yet mine never heal. They only get worse with time." I smiled a little.

"Sasha!" I said. "Hurting yourself wont help. And time will heal that wound. If you let it. You aren't."

I smiled and shook my head "I will let it but at the end of the day nothing changes." I moved my shirt a tad to show the letters J and A "Like I said at the end of the day it doesn't change. In my wolf form you can't even tell I have them on me." I also remember writing his name on my stumich so when I was in wolf it would be directly over my heart.

"How long have you given it?" I asked. Then I saw the letteres. "Did his name start with an A?"

I shrugged "Since I killed him and his name was Jake." Sadness showed when I said his voice. I knew I was alone in this but I had to be strong if I wanted to be alpha.

"Then what does the 'A' stand for?" I asked.
