Clash Of The Elves (X)

I wasn't expecting that. His lips were soft and yet hard at the same time. I kissed him back. I didn't care. I liked him.

"Still not going to bed?" I asked.

I shook my head "No."

"Suit yourself," I went and put my back against a wall. "You'll be safe tonight."

I shook from being cold and covered up. "I know but I can't help but watch over her..." I looked back at Andea who was fast asleep now.

"You know I'll keep her safe. Now sleep." My vouce was gentle.

I sighed "Really I'm fine. I'm not tired." I knew that was a lie but maybe I would get lucky he would believe it....I knew my luck wasn't that good though.

"You're a terrible liar," I noted. "Now sleep."

I looked at him "I'm fine. Really. I don't need to sleep." I covered up to my neck and still shook. This was odd. I never got this cold before. Guess it must have been the weather change.

I put pressure on the spot where neck and shoulders meet and kissed her forehead as she fell asleep. "Sweet dreams," I whispered.

I wanted to fight back but I passed out to quickly to do so I let myself sleep. I wasn't sure how I slept only that the dreams wern't so nice...Everyone I loved was being killed because of the war and I was crying.

She started screaming in her sleep, so I layed down beside her and held her close. She calmed down.

I woke up in his arms. I wasn't sure how long I slept. Andea was still fast asleep. I didn't hardly move. He was holding me closely. I liked it.

"Awake already?" I asked.

I looked up at him "How long did I sleep?"

"About 5 hours. The sun won't be up for another 3 and a half." I shrugged.

I sighed and reaxed back against him. This is so crazy. "Three and a half hours...I'm shocked I got 5..."

I gave her a questioning look.

I looked up at him "I usally sleep maybe an hour at most when I do sleep. Sorry..." I blushed. I'd never ben this close2 a guy before.

"You don't have to like being around the to hurt them. Obviously you're not going to tell me anything, but beware for the moon shines bright on those who betray." I then left him in the hall and headed back towards Melda's hut. When I got there I found that she wasn't there and that she hadn't been there for a while. I became very worried, I had to find Aranel and make sure that Melda was safe. I knew I would be crossing into the Dark Elf's territory but I was very good at sneaking around. So I quickly went into the Dark of the night jumping from shadow to shadow following her scent. After about an hour of avoiding scouts I came to her hut.

I looked up. thinking it wasn't real, being stuck to this post wasn't real.

"There's a first time for everything." I really started to notice her then. The way her eyes sparkled in the moonlight. The way her smile lit up the entire world, and how her hair was not just one color, but the colors of autumn leaves streaked throughout a golden brown. Her skin silky smooth and lighter than than most dark elves'. She really was something else.

I heard a leaf crunch from outside and my head automaticly turned towards the noise. I looked at him "I have a bad feeling..." I got up and picked up Andea. She was still asleep so I didn't wake her. I waited for someone to eather knock down the door or knock. I sat down next to Drizz't and laid Andea between us. "Drizz't...." My voice was quiet and had a little bit of worry in it.

I stood by them, relaxed. My blades were in my hands. "I'm not worried,l I said.

Andea started to move in her sleep so I picked her up and held her. I scooted closer to him. The waiting was killing me. I just wanted to open the door and kill whoever decided to get this close to me and Andea...In our own home.
