Clash Of The Elves (X)

"There's no telling if it's and enemy or a friend until we see them," I told her.

I looked at him and nodded "I know..." Andea started to move more and woke up. She put her arms out for Drizz't to take her. "Daddy..." She said cutely to him.

((yeha i need to wait for justin.... ))

The tension was so thick in the air you could cut it with a knife.

Andea still struggled in my arms. She wanted Drizz't. "Daddy..." She wined. She kept her arms out for him to take her.

"Stay behind me dear." I said to her. "Daddy needs his hands free right now."

I started walking closer to her hut, their was a big wooden door. I remembered our last encounter and I knew I hadn't been the nicest to her, but what could I say we were at war. Instead of knocking I said loudly, "Aranel this is Elron I need to speak to you. Do not fear me because i'm come to you in peace."

I sat there. I was starving. Everything seemed to be getting blurry. I was going to kill whoever tried to pin this on me. Slowly. I am sure that I wouldn't be the one to give him the most pain for what he did to Ara.

"Elron," acid laced my voice. "Since this is not my house, i'll let you live. Enter, but make one wrong move and i'll remove your head from its pedestal upon your shoulders."

"I do not know who you are but you would be wise in knowing who you are threatening," I replied as I entered her home. I noticed the Dark elf and also noticed that his scent was that of the one I had tracked earlier.

"Aranel, Melda has been taken I believe, but I don't know who. I was with her when she suddenly felt that something was wrong back in the village. I brought her back here and she headed straight into the forest where you were at. I don't know what happened, so can you please fill me in?"

"She was captured by a patrol of dark elves and taken to the city," my voice was hard. "And yiu would do well to stay on your guard around me." I threw his sword to the ground in front of him. "We found this lying next to Aranel after she'd been raped. I was told it belongs to you. Am I wrong?"

I held Andea close as she struggled more in my arms. She slipped out and ran over to Elron and put her hands up for him to pick her up. I knew he wouldn't hurt her. ATleast I hoped he wouldn't. "Up...up." She kept repeating.

I was confused as to why the child ran to me and wanted in my arms but nevertheless I picked her up anyways replying, "Yes that is my sword, but one I would never be so careless to leave it lying on the ground for it has a mate," I then pulled out my other sword and showed them, "and two someone stole it from my hut. I'm thankful to have found it but not in this manner." I stared down the Dark Elf.
"If you think I did something to harm anyone here you are wrong." I then shifted the girl in my arms.

I was a tad on edge while he stood with Andea. She sucked her thumb and rested her head on his sholder. "I'm sorry i'm not able to help....I don't remember anything of what happened..."

"What happened to you?"

I looked down and shook my head "I don't remember. I remember a man and he cut me a lot but after that I don't remember....Drizz't says I was raped but I couldn't tell you eather way. I just don't remember. I hit my head.."

"You're not stupid enough to actually want to fight me are you?" I smiled evilly. "All the evidence points to you. If you're smart, you'll watch you're step around me." I reached ever and lightly kissed Aranel.

(Btw justin, don't forget that Aranel's a dark elf and lives on dark elf land which is where you are now.)

I knew my eyes showed I was tired but I didn't care. I had to watch him. He had Andea. I smiled at Drizz't and lightly kissed him back also. I still watched Andea. She seemed content to having him hold her. She put her hand lightly on his face "You didn't hurt mama."

(remember everyone no one listens to andea when she says that. She's to young so everyone brushes it off. That's how the war starts.)

(Yea yea we know)

(But the war actually started like forever ago between Drizz't and Elron's andcestors and has been raging over since. This is just what drives the two of them to fight.)

(ok tyler well go with that.)

(actually the brothers starting the war is on the very first page in the intro, and Drizz't and Elron being their descendants was Justin's idea lol)

That it was I was okay with that because Justin discussed the idea with me. I thought it was a good twist.
