Clash Of The Elves (X)

The smiled faded a little "I just met you...how am I suppost to know you right off the back?"

"You don't. And you'll probably never truly know me. No one will," I looked away.

I was shocked he even said that. A tear ran down my face and I walked outside.

"Aranel, it's not in my nature to be open to people. I never have been. I probably never will be. Maybe it will change, but I doubt it. Like I said, you fell for the wrong guy." I went outside to check on Gaidin, although since his scales were harder than diamond, I wasn't worried.

(Btw its right off the bat. Not back)

I sat down on the swing outside and looked at my hands. I wasn't sure what to say...I just...I wanted everything to be alright but this was hard...

"They are very nice hands aren't they," I tried to lighten the mood.

I shook my head "No they arn't. They are anything but." I let the sentence drop.

"They're nicer than mine, and stained with much less blood. I'm not good for you." i walked back inside. This was how things had to be.

I couldn't stand this. I ran off of the porch and jumped up on Spirit and ran off into the woods. Garou would protect her. Tears fell down my eyes as she ran.

"Gaidin, watch over them." I couldn't run as fast as a horse, but the trees would speed my path while slowing the horse. I should catch up.

Spirit was in the best shape of her life. No saddle, bridle....nothing but me and her. I let her run free. She could go where ever she wanted. I couldn't see past the tears. I started to hear wings and leaned up to Spirit. "Spirit we have to loose them..." She ran faster and took to many turns. I was even lost. We lost the dragon and hid. I wasn't sure where we were but she needed a rest.

Luckily, they stopped because I caught up to them fairly quickly. "Why are you running?" I demanded. "You just left Andea!"

I fell off of Spirit and landed on my butt. Tears still ran down my face. I was shaking bad...My heart felt like it had been ripped out of my chest and broken into a trillion pieces. I pulled my knees up to my chest and burried my head.

"Why did you run?" I asked again.

I shook my head at him question. There was no way he would be able to understand. Spirit laid down next to me and put her head down. I continued to let the tears fall down my face. My hand gripped my shirt where my heart was hard. Almost like I was trying to rip my heart out if I could.

"Answer me," my voice was cold and hard. "What could possibly be so important that you would run out on her? What?"

I looked up at him as tears fell down my face. "I've never been close to a guy before and I've never had this problem. I needed to run and clear my head up. Something you said hurt me and I don't know why ok? I'm scared. My heart hurts and I don't know why." I hoped he was happy. He got me to talk even if I didn't want to. The cold in his voice made me grip my shirt harder. This was not a feeling I usually liked.

I looked at her and felt my eyes tear up. "Great. This is my fault too." I ran as fast as I could, not caring where I went. Gaidin would watch over them. They were better off without me. Besides, I couldn't let anyone care about me. I couldn't let myself care about anyone else. I'd already started though.

I got up and ran a little way then stopped next to a rock. I yelled for him but he never answered. I fell down onto the ground hard and cryed. I needed to get back to andea but this was hard....It was so hard to breathe....

I ran back to the ruins and went as deep as I could. It was a secret place where no one would find me, even thoug Andea was just a few hundred feet away.
