Damn. Stupid girl shouldn't be coming through here with someone so young. I threw a knife and hit the monster's eye to get it's attention, then I jumped and pulled out my scimitars in the air. I thrusted them straight down as I fell and they both went through its skull. I wiped my blades clean on the grass and turned to walk away. "You should be more careful."

I hugged Andea close to me and looked at him "Thank you Drizz't....I'm lucky you were here...I thought I was out of range of them but I guess I wasn't..." I looked down at the ground and kissed Andea. She would be alright.

"I'll watcha over you," I said while jumping back into the trees. "You'll be safe."

I bounced Andea back up onto my hip "Fine but I'm walking. I've ran enough and she needs to sleep..." I started to walk some more.

I walked through the trees above her, keeping a careful eye out for anything that would endanger them.

I watched where I stepped and after a little while I had to sit. She was starting to get heavy. I found a log and sat down with her still in my arms. She was fast asleep with her thumb in her mouth.

I sat in the tree and watched as they sat down. She looked tired.

I sighed and sang softly to Andea. Most people thought she was my sister or something when she was my daughter. I kissed her head softly as she slept. She was fast asleep. I looked up at D "Come down please?" I asked kindly.

I dropped down and leaned against a tree.

I smiled and watched him "I won't bite you. And she is way to into her sleep to want to bite you." I joked but tryed to stay a little more quiet to let her sleep better and not wake up.

"If you tried to bite me, I'd be obliged to slit your throat." There was no humor in my voice.

I smiled. For some reason I thought that was a little funny. "As long as you don't hurt Andea I don't care." I kissed her temple again.
