Ah, I like this story too. Although I was wondering, if Kevin has those mind control powers, can't he make people forget that they discovered something unusual about the family, so that they wouldn't have to move as often, or at all? As in, every time they noticed that a person was suspicious about them, couldn't Kevin erase what the person knows or something?

Another thing, why does Julie hate being in the family so much? Is it just because she has to start over a lot? Or, is there some other reason? It didn't really explain too much of Julie's past except about her vampire skills and how she was changed by Leo. I mean, the family seems to care about her if they want her back so badly. Except the sisters, of course. But still, at least she has a family.

Oh, and what about how Kevin was pretty much going to fight her to get her to come back? So, I'm guessing that the family doesn't have any free will?

This is amazing! Please, keep going! I can't wait to read more.

Chapter 3: Welcome Home
It was morning when they finally left. The sun had just begun to peek over the mountains. I stood up and sniffed the air, searching for any of the familiar scents of my family. I couldn’t smell them.
I started toward my motel room and frowned. They had taken the bag with all of my clothes in it. I sat down and contemplated going back. If I went back, would anything be different?
I sighed and stood up; of course I had to go back. I took the key card on the bedside table and hurried out the door before I could change my mind.
Walking to the office I found myself looking for Jeremy. He was in the office behind the desk. He looked tired, like he hadn’t gotten any sleep that night.
As I approached the office his face twisted into a breath-taking smile. I smiled back, instinctively.
“Good morning,” he said as I opened the office door. “Sleep well?”
No, I thought. “Yes,” I smiled, and then frowned. “I’ve come to check out.”
His smile fell a little. “Okay.” He typed something on his computer then started to go for the register.
“No.” I said quickly. “Keep the money.”
He stopped then looked up, “Are you sure?”
I smiled and nodded, starting to turn around to leave. That’s when I saw the ‘Going out of Business’ sign and turned back around and looked at him.
“Why are you going to of business?” I asked, curiously.
He seemed amused by the question. “We’re moving to the next town over…uh…what’s the name?”
“Zaring.” I answered, interrupting his ‘umm’ and ‘uh’s.
He smiled. “That’s the one. It’s such a small town.”
I nodded. “I know. I live there.”
His smile widened. “Really? That’s cool.”
“Yeah,” I agreed, “maybe I’ll see you around sometime. When are you moving?”
“A week.”
I nodded. “I’ll see you around, then.” There was only one high school in Zaring so I knew that’s where I’d most likely see him.
I turned and walked out of the building slowly. I walked until I knew no one could see me then I ran. The wind wiped through my hair as I went. Soon I was in the driveway of the one place I didn’t want to be. Home.
Slowly I walked up the driveway and onto the porch. I sighed, hesitating at the door. “Come on.” I told myself. “You can do this.”
I did. I opened the door and yelled, “Kevin! Tony!” as I stepped inside and closed the door.
Kevin was the first one to make it to the door to greet me. He looked surprised. And mad. Tony came up behind Kevin a few seconds later, his eyes were purple, meaning surprised.
“What are you doing here?” Kevin asked his voice cold. That voice scared the hell out of me.
“I came back for you guys. And for Leo,” I said my voice small. I regained my composure and looked him in the eye, “But if you don’t want me here…If I am unwelcome I will be more than happy to go back to my motel room.”
I had trouble not flinching away from Kevin’s accusing eyes. I remembered the way we had fought and my face hardened. “Am I welcome or not?” I asked, feeling terrible about the way my voice sounded. So defensive, and so unlike me.
I turned for the door before they could answer my absurd question. I felt a cold hand grasp my forearm and I felt something jump inside me as I secretly hoped it was Kevin asking for me to stay. But when I turned around it was Tony.
“Don’t go,” he spoke slowly, “We just didn’t expect you to come back. Kevin told us about the fight…”
My cold gaze flashed to Kevin’s face and I couldn’t hold back the shutter. He not only looked angry but I saw a little regret in his eyes as well as disappointment.
“Where are the others?” I asked, looking back at Tony soft expression and purple eyes. Purple, I thought, that’s…surprise? Yeah. He was surprised to see her.
Tony’s voice showed all of the softness his expression did as he spoke: “The girls went shopping. They asked Leo to escort them.”
I sighed as I looked to Kevin again. He had every right to be mad. If our roles had been reversed I would have slapped me by now. And I didn’t mean the small fight we had in the motel room. I meant an all out fist fight. I wondered who would win.
It didn’t matter. What mattered now was that I needed to make amends. “I’m sorry.” I told him, my voice as well as my expression losing all coldness.
Kevin was about to retort when a females voice cut in from behind me: “Why did you come back?”
I closed my eyes and took a deep, calming breath before I turned around. The hideous and unmistakable voice had come from Kyan. Her and my other sisters were standing in the doorway. Leo was, of course, there too.
“I came back for Kevin, Tony and Leo.” I answered, my mood going black once again.
“Oh, I love you too sis!” She said with a sneer and a fake smile.
“Kyan,” Leo snapped, “Do not be cruel to your sister. My gaze went from Kyan to Leo. His expression was unfathomable. He looked almost upset. Was he unhappy that I was back? “Leo.” I nodded respectfully. I held his gaze for a moment before looking back at Kevin and Tony.
“Kev, I’m so—“
“Are you staying?” He interrupted using the same cold voice as before.
I flinched as the words and tone pierced my mind. He looked at me as if my very being disgusted him. “If I am welcome and wanted.” I said in a hopeless voice.
“Oh wah! You make everything so dramatic, you know?” It was Kyan again. I turned around, my teeth grinding against one another.
I saw the grin on her face and something inside me broke. I took a couple of steps toward her shouting “You vial hopeless, arrogant, little slut!” I was going to give her exactly what she needed, a few good hits to her pretty little face.
As I got closer I felt someone’s hands clamp down on my arms and pull me back. I pushed harder against them but that was a useless effort.
I groaned and let Tony lead me back, I glared at Kyan the whole time. I hated her
When I had controlled my anger I had no idea what to say. The silence grew deep.
I looked at Tony, then Kevin. Tony looked disappointed. Kevin glared at me in disgust.
“Let. Go. Of. Me.” I hissed at Tony. He released me instantly “Thank you.” I said and turned around, walking to my room. They hated me. Even Kevin. The thought of Kevin hating me made me want to sob.
Everything was how I’d left it, I noticed as I walked in. I sighed and got into my bed, under the blankets. I just wished I could disappear…

Kevin can erase memory. But only to an extent. His powers dont really work that way. And he cant do multiple people at once. hes not that powerful.


Julie was tired of feeling unwanted. She felt like a burden to her brothers and Leo. They had to fight for her against her sisters as well as poeple at school. Which is eiter in chapter 4 or 5. Im not sure lol

The family does have free will. But again its to an extent. Their are vampires with more control then Leo does. Though he does have some say in that community. that is in chap....ummm....11?

So brace yourselves....Im rewriting the ENTIRE Thing.
NOt much of the story PLOT itself
But I have a laptop now so I can type more
And I dont really like how Twilight it is
So Im going to change it up a bit
BUT
Ill put it to a vote after I put up the rewrite and see which version you guys like the best
AND IM SO SORRY ITS BEEN SO LONG
