I smiled. "that would be nice." i said.

i wanted to know what was going on.....right now....

The doctor came into the waiting room after about an hour of testing. "Mr. Daniels?" He asked looking at Adam. "Your girlfriend showed a rather advanced infection in her kidney's and bladder likely some acidic build up caused the pain." He said.

Mark smiled. "And maybe we could get a puppy? I mean a dog...a manly dog.." Secretly he liked toy poodles.

"But i like toy poodles...." i pouted my lower lip.

"Will she be ok? what kind of treatment does she need?"

Mark smiled. "Yeah me too..." He said and kissed her gently.

The doctor nodded. "She'll be in a lot of pain for about a week or so. The best we can give her is to drink alot of cranberry juice. With the pregnancy it would be a bad idea to give her any sort of pain killers."

i kissed him back. "besides manly dogs are sometimes not nice and not good for children to be around."

i nodded. "thannk you doctor"

Mark shurgged. "Depends on how you raise them." He said. "If you raise a dog to be mean then that is what they will be."

The doctor nodded. "You may go see her now. She's in room 143." He said and opened the door so he could go down the hall.

i went to my perious Ai.

"i know but still...id rather have a cute toy poddle puppy."

Ai looked up as Adam came in. They had her hooked up to an IV for fluids because her kidneys weren't processing them right. "Hey." She whispered when he came in. "Sorry I scared you."

Mark smiled. "Its okay that is my fave type of dog anyways."

"awe....you really are my soulmate." i kissed him gently.

"its fine....id rather be able to know how i cant get you better."

Mark smiled and kissed her back. "Hmm so are you going to tell your best friend or what?" He asked looking at her phone.

She smiled and moved over on the bed so he could get on it with her. "I'm sorry." She said again. "The doctor told me it was probably because my kidneys aren't used to filtering for two yet so there was a build up. I should be fine."

i got in next to her and wrapped my arms around her. "okay." i kissed her forehead.

i nodded.

im pregnant!
i texted to Ai. i sent the text to Adam as well.

my phone buzzed in my pocket. i took out my phone. it was from Mia. it siad that she was pregnant. "Mia's pregnant" i told ai.

Mark kissed her gently as she finished sending the text. "So the doctor appointment then what is next after that?"

Ai smiled weakly. "Thats good...everything is going just like we always dreamed." She said resting her head on the pillow. She winced slightly from pain

"well after we find out for sure we start looking for a new home" i said

"I wonder if theres a chance if they'll be the one having twins...." i said.

Ai raised her eye brow. "Well I don't know why. My family has a history of twins but I don't think Mia's does."

He smiled gently. "So when is the first sunagram?" He asked

"they'll probably take one so they can see how im doing and how well the baby is growing." i said. i scrolled down to my doctors number. i got the secratary and she put me in for this saturday.

"Well our family known for having a pair of twins every two or three generations."

She blinked gently. "There is good odds that you both will produce twins at some point in time." She had minored in equine genteic in prevet school. She had to pick which genes would produce what and twins ran in lines.

Mark smiled. "Good. You know that either I or Adam might have twins." He said. "Its in the family."

"no body knows not even Ai but i had a twin.........but my twin brother died of complications......." i said to mark.

"im kinda hoping that they have the twins first."

She shurgged gently. "The doctor should have spotted twins in me if I where carrying them." She looked deeply into his eyes. "But if you don't want twins this should probably be our only child. With it being both in our families it will happen."

Mark frowned and hugged her to him. "I am so sorry baby." he said and kissed her forehead. "It happens. I hope it doesn't with us but it will."

"Thats not what i ment. Id love twins but if the doctor hasnt spotted signs of twins then this time we're only having one child"

"Its ok. i dont remember him.....he passed away when he was a month old."

She sighed and rested her forehead against his chest. "Are you telling me the truth Adam?" And on came a mood swing. Her hormones were really out of wack now that she was sick and pregnant.

He frowned still. "Why haven't you told Ai? I thought you knew everything about eachother?" He asked but he was more concerned with the fact that she had lost a brother.

"Because my parents asked me not to tell anyone. so basicly my parents, doctor,me,and you are the only ones who know." i told him

"I am Ai. Id never lie to you."

He ran his fingers into her hair. "Why would they want you not to tell anyone. A twin is a big part of who you are. My aunts were twins and when one died the other one almost went crazy."

"That in itself is a lie....just say it you don't want twins. You think it is to much to hangle." She was angry but not really with him. In fact she didn't know why she was angry or why she was yelling at him.

"Ai I do want us to have twins just not on your first pregnancy. if it is twins ill be the happiest men in the world because then ill have you and the twins to love."

"well im still sane....its probably because i didnt know.....didnt get the chance to grow up with my brother."

Suddenly she started to cry. It confused her that she was so mad at everything and yet nothing at all. "I want Mia." She whispered. "She would understand. No one else understands." She moved away from Adam go to the far edge of the bed and moved to take the IV out herself

Mark sighed and just held her close but he had a bad feeling in his stomach like something was wrong somewhere. "Mia. Do you feel funny? Like something is out of order or wrong?"

i shook my head no. "but i want to call Adam though.....neither of them texted me back...." i picked up my phone and called adam.

my phone buzzed. it was Mia. "hey.. im gonna pass my phone to Ai." i handed my phone to ai. "Its Mia, hun"
