"Do you trust me, Hoshi?"

I nodded slowly.

"Then tell me why."

"I hate them all.. I'm all alone now.. And it's cold.."

"You're not alone. I'm still here. I'll stay here. For you." I squeezed her. "Why were you so mad at me?"

I continued to cry softly. "You were drunk.. Like my older brother was a long time ago and when he tried to drive home he never made it. He was trying to text while driving on the wrong side of the road." I said.

"Think before that. In the morning."

I blinked as I cried. "I have anger issues.." I muttered.

I kissed her cheek. "Okay. And what was your dream?"

I began to shake. "Y-You.. Were.. Trying.. To.. Rape.. Me." The crying got rougher.

"You should've told me. I understnad why you didn't want to tell me before." I closed my eyes. Rape? Really? "They say that dreams unlock a deeper part of your concious. Do you have any idea why you might have imagined something like that?" My body became stiff. "No one..... hurt you, did they?"

"Once." i whispered softly. "It was my fault too.." I cried ahrder.

I held on tight and kissed her cheek again. "Tell me."

"It was in JR high.. I was walking home from my friends house after a party. I was helping my boyfriend get home. When I got to his door he invited me to come in so I did. Then he said he needed to show me something in his room annd.." I couldn't go on. I began to sob.

I held onto her. That little Rat Ba$tard. "It's okay. I hope you know I would NEVER do that to you." I closed my eyes. "You don't have to tell me anymore. Unless you want to."

"When I went home... My boyfriend called me in the morning saying he was cheating on me the entire time.. He moved away and I.. Fell apart.."

I held her tight. "I'd never...." I whispered. "And it wasn't your fault. No way, no how."

I continued to cry softly.

I took her to the couch and sat down. I let her sit on my lap. We stayed like that for a while. Me holding her tightly while she cried.

I dug my head into his chest as I cried.

"It's okay. You're safe now." I chanted repeatedly in a soft tone.

I hiccuped as I cried into his chest.

I closed my eyes.

I opened my eyes a little and looked up at him while crying. "Why are you helping me?"

I brushed the hair out of her face. "Because of what's in here." I put one hand on my heart, and the other on her's. I smiled softly and hugged her to me again.
