my poems, they're kinda sad \:

She feels it through her skin
He’s cut her deep this time
She knows she shouldn’t have let him in
But, some things she can’t help
Like the cuts on her wrist
Those were a mistake
A little bit of self hate
Taken too far
But, somehow never far enough
Far enough away
Away from the pain
The pain that boils under her skin
Her skin, painted with pink lines
These scars, they tell her story
A story of regret, anger and pain
He’s hurt her this time
A little too much
She’s going under
How can they reach her,
When she can’t even reach herself?





Red on the water
A stark contrast
Like her ivory skin against the dark night
She wasn’t supposed to be there
Something wasn’t right
Her dark curls are damp with sweat
She made a mistake
She hadn’t meant to hurt him
But, oh she had
She smiled at the thought of his fair hair in her grip
As she held him while the knife went farther in
It wasn’t her place
To punish him for his mistake
But, if he could play God
Why couldn’t she?
