| I never really liked Heath. I'd have to say for Zoey's own good Stark. Even if they don't end up being a couple he's still better for her. He's really worried about doing the right thing and keeping her safe as opposed to everyone else that just wanted well a piece of you know what. | |

| Heath and Zoey *need* each other. Like most of you, from what I've read, I didn't like Heath in the first book, but unlike many, he grew on me as I read the next books. He's made it obvious, through his words and actions, that he needs Zoey. And the scene where Zoey killed the two gangbangers and he reminded her that she shouldn't be mean shows that she needs him, to remind her of her humanity and that she needs to hold on to it or she could end up being heartless and cruel like Neferet. He's her moral compass. | |

| Don't get me wrong, I'm all for Zoey and Stark, but she needs both of them in her life I think, they both fulfill her needs and 'complete her' (dang that sounded corny), but they fulfill different needs. | |
