Hunters Become The Hunted

I got off the bed and hugged him, but drew back quickly when I felt that he was the same temperature as I was. "Because to be able to move on in my never ending life, I have to pass High School. And I died when I was a Junior." I said matter of factly.

"Okay, hey what should I do about the, well the changes, how o I explain why im really pale adn all that?

I looked at him then around the room then back at him. I shrugged my shoulders "I don't know. I didn't finish High School" I joked but then added in a serious note "Uhhh just say you caught a some type of non-contagious disease or something." I looked at Owen "What do you think Chief?" I asked

"I dont know, id say that you had a bad flu adn it affected your skin"

"Awesome. Say it also affected your skin temperature too. Oh and your Uncle Kev is joining too. He doesn't know yet.. But that's to bad for him! Would you like to join to Owen? Or would that be to weird having your Dad around, Blair?"

"I have to stay around here anyway" I xmiled

"Alright. So it is just your Uncle Kev and I. Aw don't worry squirt, we wont bother or embarrass you too bad.." I said, smiling

I laughed and then pinched his cheek "You'd betcha! Oh sweet heart, we are not that embarrassing. Trust me! Your uncle and I combined... We are kick As*! Oooh that reminds me when you can control your self more, we are going out! I plan on teaching you the tricks of our- *point at Myself and Owen*- trade. Oh! And I have to start planning your funeral" I said and marched off to get a pen and paper then came back

"WHy do i have to have a funeral?"

"Because you are dead. Duh!" I said

"Good point, but it will just have to be us, anyone who comes iwll be confused when he keeps gpiong to school

I laughed "Yeah, hunn it a family only type thing." I pondered for a minute then said "Or... we could move. Get away from here. I have been meaning to ask you about this Owen, but.. we have been living here for 16 years.. and I don't really like it here. Reminds me of everything I missed out on. So we could say Blair died. Hold a funeral for him. Then get the heck out of here."

"thats actually a good idea, Ill go get some stuff ready, oh and I need to call blairs friends and tell them so I need you to puch me in the stomach, I cant fake crying"

My smile brightened and I cracked my knuckles "I could do that" I said

I poked my head inside the room "Is everything okay?" I asked

"Bliars dead" I said with a sullenm face, hiding him behind me

My voice caught in my throat and tears welled up in my eyes instantly. "W-What?!" I choked. "Your kidding.. you have to be kidding.." I cried then turned my head to Scar "Scar. What. Did. You. Do.!?." I screamed, the air around us dropping 300 degrees

"Hey-" I started in protest

"Well thats what were telling all his friends" He walked out

I saw Blair behind him and I let out a breath, the normal temperature returning to the room.
"Owen. You Scared me. I thought you were serious. Do not play around like that to me. And why are we telling his friends he's dead?" I asked, in confusion, following him.

"Were moving!" I shouted happily

I walked in the room "Were moving?" I asked

I skipped over to him and kissed his cheek "Yes!" I smiled

I looked over at Owen "Please explain." I said.

"Weve been here for 16 years, it occurs that noone knows where we live, and I think we could use a new start, I mean, adnyone that sees you me, scar or kevin, well, it might occur to them we arent aging so we need a new start"

"Yeah" Im going to call his friends now" I wlaked out adn came back 15 minutes later

"Theyre all bawling there eyes out"

"Oh poor things" I sighed sadly

"Are you okay with this squirt?" I asked Blair

"Yeh, I need a break anyway, everyone keeps badger ing me to come over adn stuff, I think a new home would be a good start"

"Well it should be somwhere with a lot of rainy days so we can go outside"

"Yeah, that would be important" I said

"It needs to be in a big city" I also added.
